Also how the hell you trade one of the best players in the history of your franchise for that?
The NFL truly has such a weird disparity in its trade "value" system where 1st & 2nd Round picks are more a rarity and players who were drafted in the 1st Round just 2-3 years prior literally are being dealt for 5th, 6th, or 7th Round picks with a 3rd or a 4th being a best case scenario.

They were in cap hell. They had 4 of the 5 biggest non QB contracts in the league and were 25 million over the cap.
Yeah @909 is aware of that, he can read stories too and follow the league.

His point, a valid one, is that a trash sewer franchise like the Chargers shouldn’t treat its best players, a list that isn’t that significantly long for them, like discount toys at the thrift store.

Players and more importantly, agents remember the disrespect. It’s why the Chargers are a franchise that rents their home, they simply aren’t a serious franchise.

Brett Favre was sent to the Jets for a 3rd and was a literal God walking on Lake Michigan, the Franchise savior and fresh off an NFC title appearance.
The Bills cut Thurman, Smith and Reed on the same day.

Welcome to the big time, pal.

Not the Steelers problem now. I imagine Pickett isn’t dunderheaded enough to think he’s above Hurts as he clearly thinks he’s above a washed former soup winning QB.

Now Jimmy Garrapollo can spend more time with his porn star girlfriends in Los Angeles during his suspension as he’s signed to the Rams.

Panthers signed S Jordan Fuller, formerly of the Rams, to a one-year contract. Panthers agreed to terms with EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson, formerly of the Jaguars, on a one-year, $5 million contract.

Titans released OT Andre Dillard.

Cowboys released LB Leighton Vander Esch with a failed physical designation. Cowboys released WR Michael Gallup.

49ers agreed to terms with LB De’Vondre Campbell, formerly of the Packers, on a one-year contract.

"According to multiple media reports, the Vikings will get a first-round pick this year, 23rd overall, and the 232nd overall pick from the Texans for a second-round pick this year, 42nd overall, 188th overall, and a second-round pick in 2025."

If the Steelers were so optimistic, why did they trade for Justin Fields right after?

That just confirms my hunch that if Kenny Pickett wasn’t such a baby and let old man Mr. Ciara play himself out of a job, he’d have been starting QB again by Thanksgiving if not Indigenous Peoples Day.

Trying not to hate but I would not have signed this dude. The reason his pro numbers have dipped is because teams were running this dude into the ground since he was 15 years old. There's a reason RB's from the LA area don't hang around that long in the league. Those are hard yards. In fact I think the last great RB from around here was Jamal Anderson.

Ravens agreed to terms with LB Chris Board, formerly of the Patriots.

Seahawks agreed to terms with DT Johnathan Hankins, formerly of the Cowboys.

Lions DE Romeo Okwara announced his retirement after eight seasons in the NFL.

Vikings agreed to terms with CB Shaquill Griffin, formerly of the Panthers.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Jets have agreed to terms with WR Mike Williams, formerly of the Chargers, to a one-year deal worth up to $15 million. So the Patriots again miss out on a player in free agency after the HC and GM said they were gonna throw $$ around this offseason... lol. Patriots never gonna change and Krafts gonna cheap Krafts, can't hide behind Billy B on this now.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Bengals have signed Trent Brown, formerly of the Patriots, to a one-year deal. Great when he has a fire lit under his ass but a malcontent and shitty effort guy when he isn't feeling it. To me, he's the epitome of the guy Belichick liked to take chances on... guys who could be All-Pro caliber at cheaper prices but it was a very 50/50 coin flip if it'd turn out that way (see several "character" issue signings/draft picks/trades).

The Krafts are in a competition with Fenway Sports Group to see who can alienate the fanbase that once loved them anymore. It is hilarious that they produced a vanity documentary to position Robert Kraft as the real genius of the Patriots Dynasty. Very Montgomery Burns energy.

Apparently you ain’t keeping tabs on the Hunt family because they are making this a three way for that distinction.

I try to avoid KC Queefs news that doesn’t involve Taylor Swift and the Kelce Family.

Also KC literally just won a Super Bowl, how mad can their fans be?

(To the 85% of NFL/MLB fans who say “The Patriots and Red Sox have won championships in the past ten years, how mad can their fans be?” Touché.)
