Cici's is a nationwide chain, not a regional one. And they're terrible.
All three I'm guessing.DrVenkman said:Is that olive oil, cheese grease, or italian pizza seasoning that melted into liquid? Looks good either way.

Out here we have this joint Rico's Pizza. The original one which is right by my house is fantastic, probably my favorite mini-chain of all time. Then there happens to be one about 20 miles in the next 'burb over where I used to work, and one day we got it in the office from that locations and while it wasn't bad, it was completely generic. I was almost embarrassed to have recommend it to the office after I had talked it up.

Just Win said:Bumping this because I made my own pizza yesterday. It was pretty good, used some fancy italian salami, the name of which escapes me, sun dried tomatoes and blue cheese. Standard mozzarella covering. Thing is, it was store bought pre packaged bread and tomato sauce. Next time I'm going to try making my own dough and sauce. Pointers and creative tips more than welcome.
What I loved most was how much better it tasted than a chain pie, and how much cheaper it is, especially when I used comparatively gourmet ingredients. Unless I'm in Brooklyn or Italy or in some kind of group setting where a bunch of people have already made the decision for me, I honestly don't see myself ordering pizza again.
