Well...it is on the Wii. It sounds a little different from what I remember as well. Apparently it's the 2007 version that Bush had hoped would be added to the Transformers movie, but Bay nixed it. It's not drastically different or anything, just a few minor musical note and vocal tweakings that you would notice if you've heard the original tons of times like I have.

How come I can never find people online when I want to play Call of Duty: World at War's zombie modes on PS3? Frustrating.

Does someone want to tell me why my entire Media Player Classic interface disappeared? It's only a screen, reinstalling or restarting doesn't work, and other players suck, so I don't want to use them long term.

Nevermind. I'm dumb. It was just everything under View randomly toggling off for some reason.

The Big Surf Island expansion for Burnout released today and I just spent about an hour in it. The island is pretty small, but they crammed a LOT of shit into it. The theme here is getting huge (and I mean hyooooge) air with jumps that seem to come at you every 10 feet. The dune buggy you get to start is pretty fast and agile, but also really fragile as it seems like scraping its paint will cause it to crash. Still, if you get this, find your way to the the ski jump. You won't be disappointed. It costs 1000 MS points (12.50) which is pretty reasonable for what you get.

I'm definitely interested in Spinal Tap, as This Is Spinal Tap is one of my all time favorite movies. The Evanescence songs aren't bad, either. I'm still more excited for Green Day next month, even if the choice of songs is merely okay.

I know I'm late on the bandwagon but I'm currently playing Persona 3 FES (began a few months ago actually) and this game is an absolute joy to play for any anime geek. I played the hell out of the Lunar series when I was younger and, since we will never get Lunar 3, this is the closest RPG experience there is to another WD Lunar game : similar gameplay (for the fighting parts at least), great characters, and humor.

After 70 hours, I think I'm only halfway through the game. A nice change of pace from the last few RPGs I've played where the game overstays its welcome. Apparently, P4 is even better. So hooray Atlus.

A general question about podcasts.

My friend and I want to start a podcast series but don't know where to start. We have the ability to record one and mix it but we don't know what to do with it once it's done. Is there a website were I can post it up or will I need my own website?

I was at Gamestop today to take advantage of their buy 2 get 1 free used game deal. I had some things to bitch about gamestop, but I forgot all about them after an incident with some chick there. She looked like an adult to me but my wife thinks she was a teenager. Either way she certainly was acting like a baby. After a whole bunch of bitching I couldn't make out, most it being something like 'you fucking know it. you fucking know it' and fucking repeated a lot of time, she says something like 'its my fucking phone give it to me. I'll break the fucking thing.' She repeats this threat several times to the fat man that was with her, I guess probably her father if she was a teenager. Finally she takes the phone, walks just outside the store to where there's no carpet, and chucks the phone hard onto the mall floor, where it shatters into several pieces. Very odd.

Oh but I still did note this at Gamestop on the shelf:

So ignoring the fact that the game is not supposed to be re-sold, I mean I guess that's not Gamestops problem, but ignoring that, don't you think that maybe the guy who sold it would remove that label? Or maybe, just maybe, Gamestop would? I mean half their used games aren't in their original cases, and are in Gamestops own cases with the lame anime characters on them (see the case to the left of the Microsoft one), so why not just sell this one in one of those? And wouldn't employee 93115 at least cross off his/her number? Just seems weird to me.

Oh and now I remember what I originally wanted to note before the crazy cellphone incident: they had ten copies of Dirty Dancing PC for $15 each. Do they really expect to sell those? Really? DIRTY DANCING PC? And yes, I've seen the Spoony review of said game before anyone says anything.

A: We sell tons of games that are "not for resale"..either games that got packed in with a system or something like what you showed. We're pretty much like a pawn shop..just with a way worse rate for getting cash on games / systems. I mean, we've gotten a bit tougher on what we'll take in and what not (as far as multiple copies of games, sealed content) but if its in sellable condition / allowed for trade in, we'll take it in.

B: We'll hardly take the time to create cover-art for a game unless the cover art is just completely ruined or the game was traded in without cover art.

I have a lot, a LOT of hate towards gamestop, but posting that picture of the microsoft game wasn't intended to be a I HATE THIS FUCKING STORE post, it was just odd to me. Plus, as a Microsoft employee, how STUPID do you have to be to leave that one their with your number showing?

Ah, I remember the Sonic for Genesis with the NOT FOR RESALE plastered on the game cover. It was annoying cause my dad has a used books/video game/yadda yadda store and people would ask why that's on the cover.

I often see many a "not to be resold" game going for second hand in my local "Game/Gamestop". What also annoys me is when they sometimes have second hand games more expensive than brand new.

Cheap Ass Gamer is too good. I've already made a list of 24 games which range from almost finished to (more often) less than 25% complete. All those games, I want to finish the main game and/or achievements, depending on the game, by the end of summer. Yet I'm sitting here still very tempted to crack open Twilight Princess or No More Heroes, each of which have remained unopened since I bought them with my Wii in March.
