This boss in Persona 3 is making me want to break the disc into tiny fucking pieces. 2 fucking hours getting the stupid boss's health BARELY down to 3/4s of the way and it fucking kills me. That's twice now.

I figured this would be more popular here than in the Pictures thread.

So i have £35 to blow, and i want either Ghostbusters or UFC, i have no fucking idea which one to get.

Help.

I could have sworn I responded to this, basically telling you that UFC had a lot more replay value, and that Ghostbusters would likely drop in price before UFC. Looks like you got UFC, regardless.

It's too bad we 360 users and PS3 users can't play each other online in that game. I know there are a million reasons why it would never and will not ever happen, but it especially sucks for the 4 of you who have a PS3 and no 360- you, NoCalMike, Cartman, and, uh... someone else. Maybe with you guys, we could finish a tournament, LOL.

It's me, Matt.

I was thinking of someone else who plays UFC, though. I know you are a PS3 gamer, but I only ever see you mention Guitar Hero.

I could have sworn there was someone else who played UFC online that I forgot to mention. I didn't know you even had the game.

Yeah I picked it up a few weeks ago now. Friend of mine works at HMV & he got me a copy and I just didn't give it him back. I ended up buying him a few drinks & we called it even. I think he still has a job.

I got Mirror's Edge from Gamefly and I'm not impressed with it. I try and give a game more time before I give up on it, but this one just isn't doing it for me. It seems more like a virtual reality simulation demo than a game. Color me disappointed.

Does anyone have Gunstar Heroes for XBLA? I just got it. 'Twas my favorite Genesis game back in the day. I'd like to do some online co-op.

In my quest to finally play some of the games I've had for years but not played before I get to the newer stuff I finally sat down and player Superman Returns. Easily the best Superman game ever, not that that's saying much. It's not a great game by any means, but for the five hours it took to beat it I'd say I didn't feel cheated out of the $20 or so I paid for it. Once I got used to the controls flying around the city in 360 degrees of glory was quite fun. On the downside the game is way too fucking repetitive. Fight some robots, wait, fight more robots, wait, fight more robots, wait, fight more robots, wait, fight metallo, wait, repeat a couple of time until you finally kill Metallo. Then it's fight some monsters, wait, fight some monsters, wait, fight some monsters, wait, fight some monsters, wait, fight Bizarro Superman, wait. Repeat, repeat, repeat. And the boss of the game was a giant Tornado? Meh.

Still, as a Superman mark I appreciated the effort and hope they make another game with the same engine that's not so repetitive. Oh and that doesn't have Superman ending every sentence with Metallo. You should stop this, Metallo. You are evil, Metallo. You haven't learned your lesson yet have you, Metallo. I'm the man of steel, Metallo. Why are you hurting innocents, Metallo? I had to file an extension on my tax return this year, Metallo. I hear that Transformers 2 was god awful, Metallo.

I played the demo of it a few years ago and loved the flying around. Im a sucker for flying games, hence me wanting to get iron man if it has a free roaming bit.

Now there's two MMO's coming out I'm looking forward to devoting some time to, Old Republic and Aion: Tower of Eternity.

Smues is a liar. Death and return of Superman on the SNES was the best Superman game ever.

I got Godfather II from Gamefly and have been working through it. I don't really get why it is dogged so much. I applaud anyone that tries to put a new spin on an old formula and I like how this game seems to be part GTA and part Civilization; it actually gives you a point to recruit people aside from just having some running buddies to wreck everything. It isn't the prettiest game out there, but I enjoy ordering my demo expert to blast a hole in a bank vault while I send my other boys over to the strip club front I have to put down another gang's invasion.

Death and Return was fun, but it wasn't really a superman as much as a final fight type game with super man characters pasted on it. I don't even think you could fly. Superman Returns you can fly and it actually feels like Superman, so it wins.

Yeah, you could fly. And seriously, every game back then (especially licensed games) was a Final Fight style side scrolling beat 'em up. One of the best genres ever to exist.

PK, you have me intrigued. I might just have to borrow Godfather II from my friend who has it, after I finish some of my own games, anyway. It's supposed to be an easy 1,000 points.

The Bigs2 has borrowed the TNA booking sheet apparently for its storyline.

Following a near-career ending injury, I've found myself in Mexico in need of getting my skills back in order and proving that I'm worthy of playing in The Bigs.

Do you go through the game and nobody recognizes you despite the fact the only thing that's different is the reversed color scheme of your clothes?

In TNA Impact, you create a whole new player different from the guy they've seen.

I've yet to find that option and I looked everywhere.

Uh, no you don't. I have the game, the only thing that changes is his suit and mask color scheme, and the skulls on his face instead of his chest.

No, they remember who you are and everything and apparently because you were out, the team you go on to join didn't make the post-season the previous year.

So far, I've enjoyed all of it. You unlock Cooperstown as a place to play at and have to do challenges there in order to gain Hall of Fame votes for your superstar.

We're talking about TNA, not The Bigs 2.

And Molotov, you are wrong. My guy that I made had no mask. He was just a brown haired guy wearing purple biker shorts with flames on them. I'll take a picture if you want.

I was disappointed by lack of co-op play or really any interesting, unique play mechanics. So you can fly--whoop. It's worthless, really.
