Can't say I care for Gametrailers' decision to make downloads some stupid iPod format only. I download AVGN and then watch it on my TV through the 360 or PS3 - I can't do that with the Behind The Scenes episode. Boo.

Poster's Note: This is where someone educates me on converting files. Putting ".wmv" on the end of it didn't get the job done.

The behind the scenes AVGN was pretty decent. He definitely puts a lot of work into those 10-20 minute videos.

ign gave it a 9/10.

From there review:

"In Splosion Man, if you died enough times trying to pass an obstacle you'd be allowed to skip it -- but you'd have to wear a ballerina tutu in the next level. This feature is still in Ms. Splosion Man, but instead of a tutu she gets a fat ass. And a song plays about her fat ass. Really. It's a great song, but I could see some people being put off. Is it sexist? I don't know, that's a topic for another article. Regardless, it's probably the best song about fat asses since "Baby Got Back." "

...

SOLD.

The checkpointing in Ms. Splosion Man is fucked. They spread them way too far out given the level of difficulty of some of these levels.

Going back to the last page, saw the first couple of reviews for Catherine. IGN gave it a 9, Game Informer gave it a 7, complaining that it was too hard and that the multitude of endings weren't enough of a payoff to warrant multiple playthroughs. But mainly they bitched about the difficulty. Apparently they haven't played an Atlus game before.

Dorks with money annoy me.

I like my little collection. I imagine there's a sense of accomplishment to what this guy has done, but now what? At least I can play mine.

I've had some people buy it simply because it was in the Persona Universe and didn't realize it had nothing remotely to do with the Persona franchise besides being in that universe. They then bitched about the difficulty after finding out it wasn't what they thought it was.

I'd assume Game Informer's exactly the same.

Anyone play Borderlands? I'm considering picking it up as the PSN has the game, and all the DLC on for $15. I still have PS+ so I may just download the full game trail and test it before I buy it.

Yeah, it's $14.99 for PlayStation Plus, and $19.99 for non Plus Customers. Also, Limbo is out today, and it's $12.99 for Plus customers

I have it. We can play some co-op if you do get it. :)

I should have some free time this weekend. Work has me swamped all week. What level is your character at? I might want to level up a bit to even stuff out.

I can't remember what level I was, but it's pretty high as I've finished the main game and 3 of the dlcs.. I can start another one though. ;)

I know this is obvious, but it hit me today at work how fucking NOTHING is coming out for the next like 6 weeks. I'm getting Bastion tomorrow, but that's really all I'm interested until September. In fact the only games I've really bought this summer have been XBLA.

Hulk Hogan and Sasha Grey will be doing voice work for Saint's Row: The Third. I don't know about this. Grey's going to be voicing one of the twins that are the right hand...men(?) of the main baddie and Hulk will play a former wrestler that ends up teaming up with you.

In more important news, Daniel Dae Kim will be reprising his role as Johnny Gat. Let the rejoicing begin.

Pre-ordered as soon as I saw it on Steam yesterday, before I even saw the article. PC version being done in-house so it shouldn't have the issues SR2 had, and the mods for SR2 are ridiculously awesome even with all the bugs & glitches that game is left with.

At Real Canadian Superstore--and possibly other Loblaw stores--starting today, 1,400 MS Point cards are $15, $50 PSN cards are $40. And in Ontario (possibly elsewhere; not BC, though), it's tax-free until Sunday. (PSN cards should be tax-free regardless, though.)
