I get confused. I know the WWF block letters doesn't have to be censored but they do release things with WWE block logo. If Wrestlefest is ever re-released, would they have to change any of the logos?

I don't think so. They sell "classic" era replica belts with the block WWF logo on it.

That being said it's a coin toss as to whether or not Vince & Co. would want the logo changed themselves. Their stance on it seems to change with the weather.

The lawsuit details that they cannot use the scratch WWF logo, or say "WWF" on television. Everything else is perfectly fine.

Made me wonder why they needed to rebrand to WWE since going back to a new block logo would have sufficed.

Simpsons Arcade coming to Xbox on Friday and PSN on the 7th reports ign:


Konami has confirmed new details about The Simpsons Arcade Game headed to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The game is an updated version of the classic arcade game and features four-player gameplay as well as multiple modes.

"Quarters" mode re-creates the original arcade experience, while Survival mode "challenges you to see how far you can get with only one life." A Free Play mode will offer unlimited continues and the Japanese version of the game will be included as unlockable bonus content.

As we reported yesterday, the game will be available on February 7th on PlayStation Network and will be free to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Xbox Live players will be able to play four days early - this Friday, February 3rd.

Switching gears, I need a new video card. I currently have a Nvidia 9500GT which dies on me when I actually try to game or use my TV tuner. I would like get a slightly better card because this card was quite suitable for my needs. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Oh and (continue to) stay away from ATI stuff. It's cheaper but the drivers are pretty much worthless. I finally switched to nVidia (460 GTX, 768MB instead of 1GB because I was stupid and not paying attention to detail) and haven't had a problem after a decade of driver hunting every time I got a new game and it crashed/refused to load/looked awful/ran like garbage/overheated.

Really? Except for the RAGE/Battlefield incident, the past 24 months have shown ATI drivers to be more stable than Nvidia drivers.

I'm running an AMD Radeon HD 6870 on my Alienware rig and have never had any issues to speak of. I've never had to do any of the weird tweaks or fixes that the other two cards seem to have to do in order run Skyrim properly.

I will be downloading Simpsons for Xbox when I get home tonight. This was the last major arcade game I had been waiting for. I don't know if my friends I usually co-op with will get it, so the challenge will be finding someone to play with. I still have the last fe Xvmen Arcade achievements outstanding for that reason.

I was hoping my copy of FFXIII-2 would show up in time for the weekend, but I think the blizzard going on outside is going to prevent that. So instead when I get home I'm downloading the Simpsons and it's going to be a BLOW UP YOUR BALLOON AND GO AFTER MAGGIE weekend.

Re: ATI. I switched to Nvidia for 3dVision (at the time ATI's 3d offering sucked), but had had no problem with my ATI card and would have stuck with them otherwise.

Consider me jealous of you bastards, because I went from a 9200SE to a 9800XT to a HD2600 to an HD4670 over the last seven years or so and not once did I have a problem-free experience. I couldn't even play Source games reliably, every so often it would just lock up outright. Switched over, have had zero problems, everything runs & I haven't touched the drivers once since I put the card in.

I had 9800SE and it lasted eight years till artifacts started popping up on the screen during boot up. It was hell run Doom 3 and any Source game with HDR lighting.

Far as I can tell it's unchanged from the arcade.

Game had only been out a day so it won't last, but I've got the top score on the leader boards for expert free play. Never been near the top of any leader board for any game, so I'll enjoy this for the hour it lasts.

2K is putting out MLB 2K12 in a bundle with NBA 2K12 for $70. That's probably the only way I would consider buying their baseball game this year. Their exclusivity deal ends this year so maybe non-PS3 owners will finally get a baseball game that doesn't wallow in mediocrity next year.

Played the MLB 2K12 demo. Does nothing to change my hopes that this is 2K's last baseball game. Analog hitting just sucks. I guess this was supposed to be only a 3 inning demo, but my game went 8 and had 7 total hits, six of them singles. What was wrong with EA's approach of hitting a button to swing and using the stick to aim it?
