"The Marriage is announced to be solemnized of Miss Mollie Brannigan, daughter of Cole and Ella Brannigan, to Mr. Melvin Brannigan, son of Cole and Ella Brannigan."

I love how the guy asks for help then decides he's doing to take your horse. Even though he got away, I whistled a few times and the horse came back.

Damn, the Stallion I got for helping Bonnie was shot after I stopped to help a treasure hunter from some bandits. That was actually quite... sad.

I just got the sharpshooter challenge completed. Did it in Fort Mercer with the Mauser pistol. I had 5 done and only had 2 shots left, hit the chewing tobacco, dead eye and went into the little hut. The enemy popped up with a pistol in his hand. YES.

Only have to collect 3 big horns to get to hunter level 8. Then it's kill a bear with a knife and take down the legendary animals. After that, it's just bounties. I only have 8 bounties left. I'm at 97.7%.

I thought they would have used Five Card Draw in this, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it was Texas Hold'em.

I'm already doing quite well.

I don't even need to cheat to win at poker...but I do

I haven't gotten dueling down. Any duel I win seems to be by accident. The game kinds throws you into the first one without a good explanation on how to do it.

I saw my first rattle snake on a bounty mission. I hogtied the dude, picked him up and kept dropping him. Took me a minute to realize there was a rattler at my feet. I kinda overdid it on dead-eying it.

99.7%, just 3 bounties in West Elizabeth to do. YES.

Killing a bear with a knife I thought was going to be the hardest but I wounded him with my shotgun and kind of chased him in a circle so he couldn't really attack me.

That train mission with "D" whatever his name, is killing me....I can shoot all the bandits down at the beginning, but once the train gets on the other side of the tunnel...maaaan.

Get a good lead on the train and use tobacco to keep your dead eye up. I JUST did that one.

That one took me some time too. But yeah, make sure you get through the tunnel before the train does and turn to your right and dead eye all the SOBs. Then there are just a few in front that you can easily deal with.

The Bureau uniform you get for 100% takes all the fun out of the game. Nobody comes after you or sets a bounty on you. It was fun throwing dynamite at people in Armadillo but when nobody came after me I was sad.

Welp, it's officially a western movie. Got my first Wilhelm scream. I am officially 100% satisfied.

My only problem with Multiplayer is that i have no fucking idea who was on my posse, and who wasnt, the OSD doesnt really tell you much besides different colours.

Finished it tonight. I know some hated the ending(I won't spoil it here), but I thought it was pretty well done. I didn't go 100% yet, but I finished the main story and did some bounties, stanger missions, hunting etc, and I'm at almost 76%... I'll get to 100% eventually.

That was just an awesome game.

Yeah, I was fine with the ending as well. It seemed like a fitting ending if you follow the theme of the game.

Yeah the Free Roam isn't very intuitive for that sort of thing. The other competitive games are pretty fun, though. I like that in the gang shoot out they only show the dots on the map when someone is firing, thankfully, so you can actually sneak around and not worry about being spotted via the map.

I thought it was pretty fun. I was in a full room - me and my mate took over a stronghold and killed a guy a few times. He came back with some mates, so we killed them a few times, then they came back with more mates. Was a huge Stronghold holdout 2v8 for a while, then we stole one of their posse haha.

I am going to have to get used to multiplayer to get those achievements. I usually don't play unless it's in a private room with my friends.

Best game I've played in the past 5 years or so, I'd say. I've always been such a huge fan of Westerns that I already knew I'd love it, but God DAMN, has it exceeded expectations.

My favorite moment has to be when, as Jack, you hunt down Edgar Ross and kill him. Just that final look at his gun before walking away, and the title comes up? Man, that shit blew my mind. I felt like I actually avenged that motherfucker.

Agreed.

I've read that some people hated it...but I thought it was perfect and badass and so well done.

The ending was awesome...
I killed his wife and his brother too. Then pumping Edgar himself full of about 6 bullets at the end felt great. I thought the ending was fantastic, and just gave an awesome feeling.

I hate stagecoach missions. Unless I get to ride shotty and shoot folks.

While I am really into the game. I think I might try and wrap up the main story soon so I can move onto UFC 2010

I have all single player missions. Now I have to do 7 multiplayer ones. Not really looking forward to it.

I'm only about 4 hours in and am liking it so far. I do love just riding down the countryside (especially under the stars at night) and finding the odd person to help or robber to kill. I haven't explored that much, but I'm looking forward to playing more.

Just got it. Total impulse buy. Was driving my friend to Best Buy cause he wanted to use some coupons. I ended up using one of his coupons and we both got it. Haha. Man, I have way too many games I have to play. But I'm looking forward to it.

So yeah I just realized that "Remember my Family" is really the final singleplayer mission even though it is listed as a "stranger" task on the map. That was a sweet way to end everything. I didn't kill Ross's wife or brother, but wonder if anything would have been different, had I. Once I killed Ross I got the "nature or nurture" trophy....same for everyone else?

Yes.

What a fucking ending, eh? Him looking down at his gun, walking away, and boom! "RED DEAD REDEMPTION" into kick ass song.

The only thing I would change about the ending would be to make the credits more like GTA4 with all the scenery and whatnot.

Is it possible to kill the wife and brother afterwards? Will they still be in the same spots?
