I considered picking up Dungeons and Dragons not too long ago. Glad I waited.

Arkham City was a freebie in April. For DriveClub, it's technically the 7th game of the month, when there's usually 6. I'm not familiar with the game at all, but it sounds like about one-fifth of the cars and tracks of the full game, with all game modes. That's a decent demo.

Ok yeah, it was City, not Asylum that was free before. I think Dust is the only one of these games that I'm gonna actually play. I might look at Driveclub, but I'm more interested in The Crew. I'm getting bored of the PS4 releases. It's not even that they're releasing just downloadable games and not retail releases, it's just that they're releasing the WRONG downloadable games. Gimme Octodad, 1001 Spikes, Transistor, Child of Light, something like that. I'm pretty sure anyone who cares about Spelunky already owns it on one of the 17,000 other platforms it's available for.

Not a seller, but the fact we where openly promised the psn+ version of the game long before release and even one day before retail release (in the uk) we are non the wiser if that promise will be fulfilled.

If you've got a computer with a good CPU, I've read that running F-Zero GX using Dolphin is pretty sweet.

So, I picked up Binding of Isaac: Rebirth today because it's free on PS+ and the original BOI was my GOTY in 2011. It seems....good, but not as great as the original. This one just feels too easy and it conveys far too much information to the players.

Deadly Premonition is a fucking FANTASTIC experience(not necessarily fantastic game) that everyone should go through at least once. I own both the original on the 360 and the director's cut on the PS3.

Also I never played much of the Hitman series so this should be a good chance to see how well it holds up nowadays.

They are really going out with these bundles, and it's working. I've spoken to three co-workers now about how they just bought the bundle (one GTAV+LOTU, one Lego Batman + LBP and one Destiny Bundle).

Might download The Show 2K14 out of curiosity how the PS4 version looks. I remember the comparison shots they showed of stadiums really showed off how un-detailed the PS3 version was.

And they just got me. I wasn't planning on upgrading for another year as I'm not a huge gamer but I gauged the odds that there will be a price drop next year were probably not great. Also I don't own either game for PS3 so it's not like I'm just buying a prettier version of a game I already played. Just too good to pass up.

I can't remember who has it (Walmart maybe?) but someone in Canada has the PS4, The Last of Us, and GTA V bundle for regular $450 price, plus a $70 store gift card.

I've been somewhat more impressed by the Xbox deals here. Most places have the Assassin's Creed (2 games) bundle for $350, plus a $50 gift card, plus another game in some cases. I don't really want either console right now, but it wouldn't surprise me if those Xbox deals rope in a few Canadians.

If I hadn't played Last of Us on PS3, I'd probably be leaning PS4. It's one of the best games I've ever played and a great feature in a bundle. Bloodborne and No Man's Sky coming out next year seem like the potential best exclusives on either console, unless you're crazy into Halo or Uncharted.

All that said, I'm close to pulling the trigger on the XBox deal. I don't give a shit about the Assassin's Creed games, but $329 and a free game or $329 and a year of Live are awful tough to beat. Too many last-gen games to get through, but that's a comical deal for something I'm mostly looking at as a delivery system for multiplatform games.

Here's a list of games I won't get around to playing that I wanted to on the PS3:

-South Park: The Stick of Truth
-Batman Arkham Origins
-Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition (i've played it without the expansions)
-Bioshock Infinite (was halfway through, but my plus membership expired and I didn't renew)
-Assassins Creed Rogue

Maybe some games will end up being freebies on PS Plus one day. I was told by someone that the PS4 won't have PS1 or PS2 games in the PS store for download because of the differences in architecture so that sucks. I've never really been one to download indie games, so they'll really have to bring it on the freebies for me to want PS Plus. Looks like they did this month with Injustice.

I guess I could always keep my PS3 around to play that stuff, but something tells me it won't get touched when I have the PS4 going full strength.

Then again I'm moving in with my girlfriend in July and she has a PS3 and owns all those games. So there's that.

So what should I do with my old PS3 and games? I doubt I'll play them again. I guess I could just take it all to Gamestop and get whatever they're going to give me and buy a new PS4 game.

I kind of wish I'd played the old Dragon Age games now so I can play Inquisition and know what the heck is going on.

If you don't have a blu-ray player outside of your PS3, I would keep that. As it stands right now, the PS3 is still a better blu-ray player than the PS4 as it has a more stable firmware. That being said, I kept mine also because I have a shit ton of nostalgic games that I couldn't part with.

Also, Gamestop will probably offer you next to nothing, because everyone will be trying to dump their old games and systems. Looks like they have an online trade quote page. (If you're in the US.) The Last of Us is $5 in trade; GTA V is actually not awful at $10. But something like Fallout: New Vegas offers 75¢.

I would imagine you could get $5+ per game (depending on the games) throwing them all in a bundle and putting them up on Craigslist or some other local classified. Or eBay if you're experienced with that, but shipping and listing stuff can be a hassle—plus they take about 15% for their cut.

^^^ YES. That. I went to trade in my PS3 copy of Saints Row 4 (I'm upgrading to the PS4 release) and they would only give me $1 for it.. so I kept it.
