Just finished my first play through of UNTIL DAWN. Game was way better than I expected it to be. I figured it would just be ok and being a horror fan in general I would give it the benefit of the doubt, but I really reaaaally enjoyed it and can easily see where certain spots in the game could go different and effect the outcome in different ways if/when I play through it again.

Also, do we have a general horror-gaming thread? I know a few horror games are big enough for their own thread but since they seem more niche, I was thinking maybe we should have a general thread for games like this which might not be widespread enough to anchor their own discussion.

I'd rather avoid that to be honest because then it becomes a catch all thread and posters don't start new threads out of laziness. You can always throw a comment in with the pertinent game console thread or simply start a new thread if the game/title warrants it as you said yourself.

You would think Sony, who doesn't have a whole lot of exclusives this year, would have put more behind Until Dawn. It's getting sales pretty much from people watching streams and word of mouth right now.

There's a system update out now that adds zero of the useful features people have been requesting, but does remove the USB music playback option! Great...

It just removed the standalone "USB Music Player" app - you can still play music, via USB, using the Media Player app.

EDIT: I wouldn't say zero useful features. YT streaming and PNG screenshots are pretty great.

My original PS3 died about 2 years ago and I replaced it with a 250gb model 3 system. If I remove the HDD from my original PS3 and put it in the new one, will I be able to recover my saves, or will it automatically reformat?
