Are the non-Wii U versions of Zombi supposed to be any good? As far as I knew, the gamepad was a crucial piece for that game.

The only thing I can remember the pad being used for on the Wii U version was the inventory management mini game. I'm not sure how they handled it for the port, but I guess I'll find out (in April).

I'm having some lag issues with my DS4 all of a sudden. I tried playing Fallout 4 for a little while this evening, and all of a sudden I was getting unbelievable lag on any kind of controller Input. It would take at least 2 seconds to pull up my Pip Boy and if I tried looking around, it would either lag by several seconds, or I would do a 180. The controller is charged and I've tried resynching. Any other suggestions?

I nabbed Dead Star and really enjoy it. The learning curve is a little steep, but each ship is designed for different play styles so you can find your groove and work it.

Table Top Racing will be a download. I haven't played any racing games besides Mario Kart (and various arcade machines) in a long, long time, so it'll be pretty nice to have a game my girlfriend and I can actually play together.

Not worth a thread, but ALIENATION dropped this past Tuesday and is a balls-out crazy twin-stick shooter. It's from the same crew that developed Dead Nation and plays similarly, only it's even more intense. And has aliens.

I have to say that I'm absolutely loving the arcade-y feel that most newer indie games are doing. They're not just cloning older games and slapping a new paint job on them, they feel like they're actually evolving that style.

Haven't cracked into that one yet. I looooved Broforce, though. Even without a lot of major releases, PS plus has been dealing out good stuff.

Dead Star. I'll probably give it some run if I need a break from Bloodborne. I dig a good twin stick, though, so the latter might be worth a look too.

Dead Star has much more replay value than Alienation. I've barely touched the latter in the last month and play the former almost daily.

Downloaded Strike Suit Zero: DC last night and played the tutorial chapter. Outside of some odd controls (both sticks control movement and not in the way you'd think), it's already feeling like a good fit. I dig the hell out of space shooters, though, so having some interstellar third-person (third-ship?) combat is right up my alley.

Just watched the full trailer for Watch_Dogs 2 on the PSN. Looks like a bunch of hipster douchebags Anon wannabees touring San Francisco trying to fight "The Man". Not a chance in hell, Ubisoft.

Official confirmation that the PS4 Neo exists, but no real new information. And it won't be shown at E3.

So I finally started playing The Last of Us that came with my ps4.

To be honest, I'm not enjoying it. It's kind of a chore to play.
But I keep hearing how great it is so I'm trying to soldier on.
But I think I've outgrown survival horror. RE4 ruined me. Noe I want to be a one man army that mows zombies down rather than sneak around them with limited ammo and health.

I'm in the subway with Ellie, just passed the swimming part. A friend told me if I'm not enjoying it by now I should probably stop.

I can honestly say that I've never played a game before where I was as engrossed in the story and cared as much about what happened to the characters as I did with The Last of Us. To me it's a masterpiece.

That being said, if you're not into you're not into it. I went through something similar recently with The Witcher 3 after finally giving into the glowing reviews for it and after about only four hours of game play (non-consecutive) I decided to take a break from it as I just could get into it...at...all. Maybe I'll give it another shot down the road.

Last of Us is next on my list.

I just finished the first Uncharted and found it a chore to get through. I know everyone says 2 is better than 1... but how much better? What's different about it?

Literally everything. Storyline is better, action set pieces are incredible. Controls are tighter, shooting and movement are way better, and it's a game that still looks great even, what, 7 years after it came out?

The first game is just the proof of concept. The second is probably the best third person action game I've ever played. Maybe the Tomb Raider reboot beats it, but it's close, and that was basically Uncharted With A Lady anyway.

The Last of Us is of course better than either of them, but it kind of transcends genre for me. My feelings on it are nearly identical to Bored's.

Okay so about the story of The Last Of Us....I'm just not feeling it so far. Maybe I'm not far enough into the game. But so far I'm at the part where you meet Bill and you go to collect parts so he can fix up a car for you and thus far storywise....

Not a lot has really happened to be honest. I mean the zombies or whatever they are struck and your daughter died. Then suddenly you're a gun smuggler of some sort and you go to get your loot back. So far not too intriguing. I want to know what the zombies are, but they just appear to be a part of the world rather than a mystery at this point.
Then you get the girl and she can't be infected. But so far that's the only real mystery and I'm not extremely on the edge of my seat for it.

You're so early into the game man. Put more time into it! The story is less about the infected/virus and more about people/survival/relationships, tbh. :p

The last of us is probably the only game I can enjoy replaying over and over. The story at the start of the game is forgotten by the time you really get into it.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration comes to PS4 October 11th. Includes some new modes, and PS VR support for exploration of Lara's home, or something like that.

As a father with a daughter hitting 5 soon, Tricky Towers is a pretty fun time as a game I can throw on and play with her. It will take her a bit to get the hang of it due to the physics element, but she gets a kick out of seeing the towers fall.

Heh. Right after I posted I figured it was only a matter of time. Was going to edit it out but then decided, nah.

Okay so about The Last Of Us. I was so wrong. Whoever said to give it a longer chance was so right. Jesus Christ this game has been fun.

I'm in the hospital now, getting ready for the end. But....

The scene from where you become Ellie up until she reunites with Joel is just about the finest segment of a video game I think I've ever played. It was just so intense and amazing.
