Any of you put a new hard drive in your PS3's? I apparently filled my 250 GB one and need to get a bigger one.

Replaced my original 60GB with a 500GB a few weeks ago. Took about 5 minutes and the only reason it took that long was because the screws holding the HDD to the tray it sits in were extra tight.

I put a 500gb into my fat model. It was easy. Just youtube it before you do it & you'll be fine

I wish there was a visual way to see what's taking up the most space. I know I downloaded MK and it took 17 GBs before install and everything else has been less than that.

Yeah, I also have to get a harddrive for my PS3. I keep having to delete stuff I don't want to delete. What's a good one to get?

The Ni No Kuni demo is fun. I can't wait to get this. Hopefully, I'll finish Dark Souls before this comes out.

Make sure its 5400rpm. 7200 creates a lot more heat and might contribute to a system failure. I have a 500gb, 5400rpm Western Digital drive in mine.

Just bought my first PSN game. I've been wanting to get the Journey Collector's Edition so I could have Journey (and Flower). But that's $30 + tax, whereas the digital game is a little under $7.50, and I already had a $20 card from when I was considering Tokyo Jungle (which is going to be half-price starting today too).

Just finished Infamous 2 the other day. Flew through it in a couple of days. I don't play a lot of video games and almost never finish them, but a super-hero sandbox game? Fuck yeah.

Trophies are a bitch. I don't want to get them, but they just sit there and laugh at me if I don't. I ended up spending two hours collecting the last few blast shards and dead drops as well playing shitty user generated mission to get those trophies. Now all I have to do play through as EVIL~! on hard.

Speaking of the moral choice system, I found that to be pretty bullshit. Most of the evil decisions weren't really that evil. Especially the last choice. Would they X-Men choose humanity versus the lives of every mutant if forced to pick? I doubt it.

Sony is planning to introduce the web-based Sony Entertainment Network store to the US this month. According to CNET, who spoke to Sony Network Entertainment chief operating officer Shawn Layden, the SEN store will ultimately let users buy content there and then set it to be automatically downloaded to their PS3s.

The SEN store, which allows users to buy PS3 and Vita content via a browser, launched very quietly last month in Europe, with Sony eventually saying the store is being tested there. As it currently stands, content bought via the SEN store appears on Vita and PS3 download lists, but cannot be automatically downloaded to those devices via the web-based store.

Played 2 matches of the God of War multiplayer Beta last night. It looks awesome and there was no lag, but I can't say that i really enjoyed it. I found it a little tricky to keep track of my player, and in the 2 matches I had, there weren't even any major set pieces. Guys kept killing each other until we hit a score limit and the game ended. I won a 4 player free for all match, and won a team 4v4 match. No idea that I was even winning until it was over.

Cyclops definitely wouldn't chose the whole of humanity over the future of mutants. He wouldn't even give it a second's hesitation. Wolverine would probably be much more conflicted.

Anyway, that's a debate for the Marvel thread. Here is a Sony issue. I downloaded the newest PS store update today. Also, a couple months back, I finally got around to installing a bigger HDD. Well, today I decided to leave the system running while we were out, and had it downloading Infamous and Little Big Planet, which I got for free as part of Sony's 2011 PSN Welcome Back deal. Here is the odd thing. My system is bound and determined that it only wants to instal these on either a PSP. When I try to hit Triangle to bring up the install menu, the normal Install, Delete and More info options are there, but if I click install, I get instructions on how to install them to a PSP or Vita. Am I doing something wrong?

Anybody here buying Ni No Kuni and really love me? If so, could you tell me if the game language (menus, text, etc.) switch to Japanese when you switch the system language on your PS3. These things tend to be crap shoots, but it sometimes works with Japanese games. My digital copies of Little Big Planet 2 and Dragon's Dogman from the US PSN store both switch over, but nothing else does. Just curious before I spend actual money on it.

I'm leaving work early to pick up my copy of Ni No Kuni. I figure the local shop won't overstock, and I don't feel like store hunting today.
