What's inexcusable about stating facts? Some female wrestlers sell their gear to make money. Some of them sell private chats and do custom tapes. Dave didn't weigh in positive or negative about it.

The offensive part is that it has fuckall to do with what Rosa is doing. Why does this random side-fact need to be stated within the same paragraph, let alone the same story? Dude can't seem to keep his mouth shut when it comes to women wrestlers + their bodies.

It's just another piece of proof that he doesn't look at women as equal human beings to men. If someone can find an example of him saying that kind of thing about a guy getting hurt and selling gear, I'd disagree with what I just said. I know it doesn't exist though. The guy is just a fucking weirdo.

Corbin is right tbh. This is one of the only forms of entertainment in the entire world where the news and critical appraisal of the entire business comes down to what one person thinks of something. It's like if the New York Times was the only one who was able to have their news stories about movies taken seriously, as well as have their review about a movie be the only review in town because that's all anyone cares about.

As far as I go anyway, I care about what he says news-wise but his opinion is irrelevant and largely behind the times. His opinion shouldn't mean more than anyone else's, but wrestling fans have given him way too much power in that regard.

WWE is pushing this week as the 10th anniversary of NXT. It's actually the 10th anniversary of the first season of the reality show called NXT on Syfy that replaced ECW on the station. NXT as a promotion started in the summer of 2012.
