Seems like obvious sarcasm by Meltzer to me, but he's been fielding trolls for the entire show at this point.

As far as fielding trolls, thats on him. He chooses to engage them because it gets his subscribers off. He doesn't have to respond to all of them but its his gimmick. So I don't have any sympathy for Dave on that score.

Dave was at what we feared would be his worst while covering AEW for his pod. Every match except for the Women's was AMAZING, all the tropes they used were not tropes but setting up future things, he didn't knit pick things that he would have on a RAW show, etc etc

His woe is me I'm 60 opening was something else too.

I watched all of AEW's shows so far, but I skip a lot of stuff because I don't dig it. The Jericho/Cody shit was great. That"hot" opener was super fake choreographed spots. I used to like Lucha on Nitro, but I guess I am have grown out of it. The Young Bucks look too small for me and 10000 Superkicks is fake shit too, so I am never going to dig them.
To be fair, I watch a lot of shitty 80's/90s stuff too and recognize its shittiness in my reviews on CXF.

It's shit like the four goofs crawling around in masks on the hands and knees that would get massacred on a Dave RAW review. Plus Orange Cassidy doing the no hands gimmick was "spoiled" last week when Jericho taped up his foe and did spots with him. Had that been a WWE move, Meltz would have shit on the whole lack of big picture foresight.
It's just a hypocritical approach to reviewing things to me.
