The last two seasons this show has been a chore to watch. I feel like I'm only watching it at this point so I don't miss anything and for completion sake, not because I'm expecting it to be funny or anything.
Spot on for me as well.

Rainn Wilson just tweeted NBC passed on the Farm pilot so the dragging out of the Office will be limited to just this season (...and last season... and arguably season 7... and a little bit of season 6).

I wonder how bad it was that the company that gave the green light to such spinoffs as Joey turned it down.

Then again, I don't think Wilson has been a major part of anything successful outside The Office.

The movie where he plays a crazy guy who becomes a Super Hero wasn't terrible. That's the best I can say.

This show has just gotten so terrible. Andy is the worst, IMO. I'd almost rather have Nellie from last season over this suddenly retarded complete asshole Homer Simpson version of Andy.

My DVR didn't catch it either. I have it set to only record new episodes and my UVerse guide had the original airing date as 11/8.

There was basically no Andy! And I've enjoyed the Oscar/Senator/Angela stuff, too. And Movember! And

Jan!

Strongest episode in a long, long while. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last good episode ever.

Yeah this was a strong episode, all of the individual storylines clicked and Andy not being around really helped things. Creed's "I miss Clinton" line killed me.

Sometime during my 30 Rock viewing (which was also pretty good) I didn't fast forward through an Office promo that gave Jan away. Nice work NBC.

Yeah. I think she was in the preview last week, too. I had forgotten about it, then about half-way through the episode I remember and thought "Goddamnit, NBC."

I was wondering why they brought up Hunter when reintroducing Jan.

"You said we were going to Quzinos..."

2/3 of the story worked for me again this week. Genuine chuckles for Dwight's hit man's pictures of his gun and safe. "Oscar and the Senator were gaying each other"

"Where is a gay man's vagina located?"

I found Stanley and Phylis' dinner was a cute bit.

The complaint angle was poor as it really made the Office look more inept than anything - Ex - Eating while on a business call, Darrell's not that socially dense.

Pam and Co. intentionally losing a client was just retarded.

They clearly said the call was a butt dial. The joke was they assumed he was having sex but he was actually eating.

Well it is kind of weird to think someone sat on a phone in their pocket but also assume they had no clothes on, but people are dumb.

"Jazz IS stupid - why don't they just play the right notes?" followed by "Jazz + Jazz = Jazz" on P&R was good stuff.

I accidentley butt dialed a (now) ex-girlfriend during sex, but she didn't answer.

Anyone else notice that Creed was wearing sweatpants with the rest of his suit?

Loved the final end bit with Angela and Dwight quizzing Toby on gayness.

I thought it was the worst part of the episode. They honestly make half of the characters on the show borderline retarded from time to time.

The episode was hit and miss for me. One thing I think the series has gotten right is not making a serious effort to split Jim and Pam once they finally got together. Yet, they get Andy and Erin together, just to break them up, just so they can do a big get back together story... just to tease another break up.

No Andy and minimal Nellie worked really well for me this week.

I found it pretty funny, but I would agree that at this point it's pretty unbelievable to show these two characters as being *that* dumb about something like that. I think all it was just a throwback to Dwight being completely uneducated about sex and anatomy from one of the earlier seasons where he has almost the same conversation with Toby (except about hetero sex).

You have to treat the cold open & credits tag as p. much pure comedy bits, divorced from any kind of logic/reality/continuity.

"Technically I am in HR and this was a question about human anatomy...I just feel bad for Dwight that the public school system failed him this much."

The lack of Andy has made this show a million times better. I hope his character is killed off on that island.

Lack of Andy and a minimum amount of Nellie.
