Beyond despondent. Charlottesville is my favorite place on earth. Fuck all these Nazis and the craven-ass president who, in just this one instance, refuses to call someone out. They've all got to go.
Just this one instance? Has he called the mosque bombing terrorism, yet? Or is the WH still going with the "fake bombing by libruls" CT?
Terror that Shitbag agrees with isn't ACTUALLY terror, duh!
I'm so very, very sad. Not the bullshit sad that Shitbag claims, I mean legit sorrow. Nothing will be done. No one who can will stand up to it. No one's language will be strong enough. Officials will use all kinds of dire eloquence to describe how this is wrong, but that kind of elocution flies over the head of the intended audience. Meanwhile, the goddamn rotting carcass of a presidency the country still has wants to diffuse blame. The defenders are already out, taking that false equivalency line. You'll hear Neo-Nazis called "protesters" by people who call protesters "garbage that I'll run over" normally.
Don't put up with it. Don't try to see their side. Their side is intimidation and hatred. I'm done attempting to find common ground. I'm completely done with trying to mince words with anyone anymore. My country is being torn asunder by one small handed, limp dick, entitled chunk of rotten flesh's demagoguery and I won't stand for it.
Everyone who works for the Republican machine will be on the news shows tomorrow morning trying to be decent people and say this is terrorism and against our principles... but on Monday you'll have Shitbag egging on the Nazis more with a stupid tweet about how the good people who showed up to drown out this Rally of Insecure White Guys were the REAL problem and there wouldn't have been any problems if the mob with torches was just allowed to do their thing peaceably.
Republicans will have a limit to how much they have to hold their noses, right? I know everyone on both sides is a craven follower of political winds but goddamn, there's gotta be some threshold where enough people have had enough of this.
EDIT: Even Drudge has the following two banner headlines: "MAKE AMERICA HATE AGAIN" and "CHAOS AT RACE RALLY IN VIRGINIA" which, for that site, is an unusual level of candor.
