I really liked the parts where things were blowing up and people were running in slow motion. There just wasn't enough of that.

When did Optimus link up with Jetfire in the cartoon? Are we talking the G1 cartoon or one of those dozen or so terrible offshoots we keep getting?

Was Armada the one where the Predacons and Decepticons were two seperate factions with the Decepticons forming the gestalt Ruination (who was actually a pallet swapped Bruticus)? Oh yeah and the flying shark guy? I did sorta like that one, actually.

This movie is like the cock drill from "Tetsuo: The Iron Man" fucking my skull-I can't get it our of my head. I've seen many worse movies than this-hell, I've seen worse this year. This movie however, will not leave my mind. It deserves some kind of anti-nobel prize. I want to meditate on it and philosophize on it because I feel that it may hold the answers to some of life's greatest questions. I want to spend years studying it in some secluded laboratory so that I can understand it. Never before has a movie so astonishingly bad done this to me.

Is this a cry for help?

I belive the only time Prime "combined" was in Victory and that was when he was Star Convoy and fued with Leo Convoy. Masterforce was odd considering he was piloted by a human etc.

In RID, Prime did combine with Ultra Magnus to become Omega Prime.

The Headmasters continuation is pretty good for those of us that love G1.

I did some research into Masterforce. It wasnt even a prime. He was an unsentient robot that needed to fuse with a human to become a transformer.. wtf.

Saw it yesterday in IMAX. The epic fight in the forest made it well worth seeing it in IMAX alone. Like everyone else said, I could have done without all of the forced humor. There were a few WTF moments here and there, but I kind of throw most logic out the window when I'm watching a movie about transforming aliens from outer-space having a civil war on earth. It was a fun popcorn flick which had some flaws here and there, but I enjoyed it none the less.

I have a bootleg around here somewhere of the first 3 episodes of Headmasters. It was an odd show, that pretty much threw the Rebirth continuity right out the window. Turns out Kup (Char on this show) and Cerebros are old war buddies. Soundwave and Blaster fight to the death, and Hot Rod prevents the forming of Predaking by driving into Razor Claw as the Predacons combine. I believe Optimus Prime also died AGAIN sometime in the third episode.

Don't forget Sixshot murdering Ultra Magnus only to eventually befriend Daniel and turn on the Decepticons.
