I'm sorry, that's DBZ that Roadblock was on, not Pokemon....

Dragon Ball, actually.

Also, let's not forget Oil Man in the Japanese version of Mega Man Powered Up.

Right now I'm playing Dead Space, just got to Chapter 12. I'm going to finish it just for the sake of completing it and being done with it forever. It's okay for the first half or so of the game, then they completely ran of out ideas, and you end up wandering poorly lit metal corridors, defeating waves and waves of the same old tired enemies, eventually you end up dragging a fucking piece of cargo down a track, then another flag hits and more enemies jump out. Then you drag it some more, repeat, etc. It's damn annoying.

Also this "cutting off limbs" shit is really damn tedious. I got the achievement for cutting off 1000 limbs, which felt like I did 3x that.

Thankfully, as soon as I'm done with this one, I think I'll play some Ghostbusters on 360, which I just picked up for 20 bucks. :)

I'm debating about giving Dead Space another go around to clean up on a few of the trophies I missed on the first go around.

I also got Ghostbusters (360) for $20 at Best Buy too.

I originally had it in from GameFly then saw the deal and bought it.

I'm at the Public Library on Professional difficulty on the fight against Azetlor.

I beat the first Power Rangers games for the SNES a few minutes ago and noticed something weird during the ending.

Zach's 16-bit face is drawn in this style, with the huge, red lips:

Good 'ole fashioned Japanese racism, I guess.

As a kid I sunk a shitload of quarters into Toki. I never got past level 3, but that didn't stop me. I could pretty much get to level 3 every time though, so I always killed the first boss. As a kid of course it meant nothing to me, but now as an adult seeing it again...well...

With my internal hype machine getting excited about the impending release of Heavy Rain, I downloade... I mean tracked down and bought an xbox copy of Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy for the North Americans). I'm really enjoying it so far!

Wait until the third act when the whole plot goes batshit crazy.

I also am playing Ghostbusters for 360. I'm not liking how your character is so slow to turn while the enemies zip all over the place. Is there a dodge button or am I supposed to shoot down all the projectiles with my beam?

After getting 1000/1000 on SvR 2010 last week, I decided to get the 1000/1000 on SvR 09. So tedious. Definitely not hard at all. Just taking to much time grinding to get the 5 Hall of Famers, which is like 33 match minimum per person. If the computer doesn't rank you 5 stars though, you are playing about 39 per person. I got two people in but I'm ready to be done and still need to get 3 more! Not worth the 100 points but I figure I'll play some other stuff in between. I really should stop score-whoring and play things I want to play that I've been putting to the side.

Been playing an unpatched Bully:Scholarship Edition (since I've been banhammered I can't get on Live) but I left it at home while I'm on Christmas vacation. So, I'll probably continue my run through Mass Effect on Hardcore to level 60 my guy and refresh myself with the major plotlines before 2 comes out next month.

Finally beat MegaMan 9 today. Took me three hours (blech) but now that I'm familiar with all the weaknesses and quirks I'm pretty sure I could halve that without too much of a problem.

Roommate and I broke out MVP Baseball 2005 for the gamecube. Was a better overall game made for any system? I submit that there is not. All the newer games I played seem to try and emulate MVP 05 and fail. The pitching system is simple, hitting is simple, fielding is easy (a biiig plus in a newer baseball game) baserunning is easy. It's the best all-around baseball game I have ever played. I wish I could patch it and play with modern rosters. And you can get it hella cheap. We got it for the gamecube for $3.99. I've seen the Xbox one for as low as $2.99 and the PS2 version somewhere around there.

oh oh let me know how it is, I was debating on picking it up soon.

It's not half bad. I've played through the first mission. Controls feel quite weird at first and I'm still not 100% sold on them but you do get used to them. Voice acting is good and it's pretty funny. Graphics are actually quite decent and not a distraction from the game. Catching ghosts is a lot of fun and quite intuitive.

Having played both the 360 and Wii version now, I think I prefer the Wii one. Dodgy controls aside, it feels more fun to play it Wii style.

I found Killzone 2 to be decent, but a little generic. It looks good, and all of the weapons seem to have a weight about them, but it handles really slowly. Also, whenever you take enough damage for the screen to dim, you might as well die since you can't see shit for a good 5 seconds.

Yeah, that's how I'm pretty much experiencing it at the moment.

LittleBIGplanet on the other hand, this was one of the original games that made me get a PS3 (the others being MGS4 and FF) and man I'm still loving it!

Picked up 19 Genesis games for $15. Included were both Shining Forces games, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Liberty or Death, Uncharted Waters, Pirates! Gold, and a bunch others.

Started Shining Forces today, been a loooong time

Pawn shop. They price their SNES, NES, and N64 games up to Ebay prices, which is why I was surprised to get those at a steal. I could never really get into Shining Force before due to crappy save packs

Shooting down projectiles with your beam does help.

It helped when I was battling Stay Puft, because it knocked all of the projectiles back into his face.
