Nash talks about Waltman almost ODing while partying w/ the Kliq. He also talks about Shawn being zonked in 95 when the rest of the Kliq puts the Razor/Shawn SSlam match together.

In one of his past shoots w/ Sean Nash said he and Shawn would pill up before matches and they knew it was time to go home when the buzz hit.
Here he downplays his usage when he was WWF champ as he had other concerns involving PR and what not. Doesn't quite add up.

Nash gets the Doomsday cage mixed up with Halloween Havoc 95 as he describes the shitty booking WCW was executing when Hall/Nash came in.

Kevin also seems to indicate that the night of the Curtain Call at MSG that Vince may have somehow talked them into staying but he sent Brisco instead? I may have misunderstood what Nash was trying to say. WCW would have had them signed, sealed and delivered by then.

I've been enjoying Foley's show. Sure he tells some of the same stories over and over but at least they aren't the same as the usual stories he tells over and over. When he gets pointed in the right direction, though, he's awesome.

This Conrad guy is so much better when I can't see his ugly stupid face.

Nash drunk Tommy Rich story.
1 - Nash has to work Tommy in GA. Rich meets him before the match and slurs his way through a basic match layout "I get furrrrrred up and then you hit the finish". Nash tells it better.
I believe Sean has his own then:
2 - Rich is supposed to go on 4th in ECW at a house show. He wants to go get drugs/beer whatever and promises Heyman he'll make it back in time for his spot even though the card is already started. Rich leaves and misses his match. They push it back a bit until Rich shows up with his wrestling boots AWOL from his now bare feet. No one asks WTF happened to you and Rich goes in and has his match barefoot.

By the time he was in WCW in 1989-91, I bet Rich had at least 2000 matches on his resume since 1976/77 when he broke in. So I can see him sleep walking through a basic match fucked up.

Finally watching Kliq This: Sean Oliver.

Oliver talking about being a semi working actor/voice over worker was pretty interesting. Sean did dubbed lines for Christopher Walken, Clooney and other actors who bringing in for dubbing would cost too much.
The best was when he revealed he had to do the coitus sounds for a "Sex in the City" or some shit.

There is also a 10 min breakdown on the holes in the bible creation story.

I've been using Foley's podcast as background noise and I think I've cycled through all of them at least twice. Notes:

--for someone as fucked up as he is, Foley's memory is awesome when pointed in the right direction. I've said this before but when he can finally nail down a date or a city or an opponent, he's got something cool to say.

--That said he can repeat stories very well. Conrad doesn't want to correct him when he does, and the stories are at least stories he hasn't told and retold forever, but man. I agree, Mick, Sherri was cool to you, Dusty didn't actually say to destroy that crate, and Missy Hyatt is probably very sweet despite meeting you when you were taking a shit.

--The only bullshit I feel like I can call him on with total confidence is him stepping up to New Jack for insulting Missy, though. I'm sure there's other versions that make it sound more realistic than Mick Foley making Jack back down.

--I like that Foley agrees with my borderline-shitpost about him and Hogan maybe having a great match in TNA. I like even more that he backs up my very real assertation that he and Hogan could've tore the house down in 1993-4.

--Him being one of the guys just cool with everyone is pretty awesome.

--The Mero bitterness is still real no matter what he says. You can't say in a serious voice "Marc is one of the greatest ex-wrestlers of all time" and not let the mask slip a bit.

I feel like Conrad might be doing a public service by trying to jog Foley's memory.

Being a teetotaler (and fact that he's an avid reader) probably helped save Foley from his brain turning into mush considering most living ECW alums have cheese omelets for brain at this stage.
