Corny told on himself again in Sunday's pod. He was talking about lumberjack matches and battle royals which lead to him telling the story of his early months in the biz, where he was in some Memphis battle royals where everyone had straps to whip with. When Bill Dundee tried to throw him out, Corny realized he was never taught how to bump like this (Outlaw Mudshow Ding). Because of not knowing, he caught his face on the edge of the ring and tore his cheek open. The ring was a piece of shit one they only used at spot shows (Outlaw Mudshow Ding).
During these battle royals, the guys would also do spots w/ Miss Linda (Outlaw Mudshow Ding). Plus instead of working "safe" the guys whipped the shit out of Corny because they could get away with hazing him.(Outlaw Mudshow Ding) Dundee would try and rip Corny's protective layers of clothing off to get to his flesh.

Where’s a Stampede Wrestling thread when you need it?
I'm pretty sure there is actually one that we may be able to find someday when our Leena lawsuit is settled and CXF can afford to fix the search feature.

I had to stop halfway through and will restart soon but I'm digging it.

The fact Foley is able to be kind of a sitcom protagonist in his own life is so comforting.

Listening to My World during my lunch break and skipping around the ad break. Conrad did something I've never heard him before. He starts reading an Observer article as if he's going back into the show then ties it back into continuing the ad he was reading.

THAT GD HAYSEED CARNEY! I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT TEST'S BRIEF RUN IN TNA! I DON'T WANT TO BE REMINDED OF MY HAIRLOSS!!!

Road Dogg's podcast has been on for like six months now. It's gotten lost in the shuffle cause Conrad's produced 3 or 4 new podcasts since then. Original co-host was XPW's GQ Money but he got resigned to WWE (@Laz !?) and now it's Conrad's sidekick Casio Kid.

83 Weeks tomorrow is on the history of lucha libre in America, which seems like it could be moderately interesting on the surface but I know that somehow Bischoff is going to be able to turn it into a diatribe against Dave Meltzer and the dirt sheet losers. NFA with that podcast (unless the subject is weird, obscure and appealing!)

It was my favorite AFS podcast too at one point. Bischoff can be fantastic to listen to when he is getting into the nuts and bolts about his philosophies on television wrestling but he pivoted head first into his dime store Cornette schtick.

I guess controversy creates cash.

Corny said on the latest pod that the Sleaze thread rumor of the RnR Express walking in on Boogie Man having a woman shit on a glass table above him is made up.

Robert Gibson set the all time record for most women in one day while working in Mid South. Corny does not give a number but seems to hint a women sports team or something was involved.

Scott Levy never pitched the Raven gimmick for SMW as far as Jim can recall,

Nash goes on a several minute rant about Tatanka, which is ironic since it has nothing to do with the show's topic of selling chops.

They play a clip of Tatanka complaining about not getting an IC run because of "Shawn's posse" and Nash loses his mind as he can't even recall Tatanka working Shawn. "Shawn faced me at 11 and Scott at 10. When the hell was he suppose to lose to Tatanka?!"

Nash has a point in that Waltman, HHH and Nash were all yet to join the WWF at the time once Sean Oliver finally gets the WM 9 results and clarifies things.
