The problem with ECW guys doing pods is almost every inside story has been told countless times. ECW guys were OGs of the shoot interviews with RF and Sean Oliver.

New Jack, Balls, Raven, Dreamer, Sandman, RVD etc...have all done countless long-form shoot interviews on ECW.

Hell. Mick ran out of stories so fast his podcast went to one new episode a month. With 3 best of episodes… don’t get how that can make sense.

That’s one thing I appreciated about Jarrett when his show started. Didn’t hear much from him on the shoot interview circuit. Felt fresh.

That’s pretty much what Punk did though. Are you suggesting Jungle Jack should have goozled him when Punk was whining about how they don’t do those type of spots on Saturdays. I personally think it’s a not very healthy work environment to have co workers openly insulting and/or goozling each other!

Don't really give a shit about anything going on in AEW. Sounds like the twerps are continuing to fail at the "Fuck around and find out" game though given the weekend of travel "issues" and confrontations.

I was merely sharing a little story that tied into Corny's story, even though the choke used was different than what apparently happened.
It is funny to listen to Corny's locker room brain when he blends into real world/modern world problems.

Almost every one of Conrad’s tentpole podcasts (except I assume STTW because well…you know ) was recapping All In this weekend. Is there not enough old wrestling for him to cover anymore?

Jeff Jarrett and JR, I kind of get cause at least they were there but why the heck do we need to hear Eric Bischoff pontificate about the current product? For a guy that (I assume) hates Jim Cornette, he sure wants to have his audience

There's no one he works with whose modern opinions I really care about, or at least when it comes to AEW. Foley's attempts to break down and critique WWE in the most diplomatic way is the most I really want.

JR is unlistenable to me.

I’ll always be a JR fan but if I don’t want to hear him be the third man in the booth for 1-2 AEW matches once every few months, I don’t want to hear him for two hours every week. It’s just sad how his heart isn’t in the wrestling business but he can’t seem to quit it.

Wish he could just enjoy retirement.

I think he would have enjoyed it fine had his wife not passed. He probably feels wrestling is the only thing he really has left. Also helps keep him keep his mind off things.

I am sure it would have been significantly less difficult if his wife hadn’t died but pro wrestling has been gently trying to phase him out for damn near 20 years.

List of great JR moments on PBP after 2002 is short to non existent.

Has STWW ever covered Vince McMahon’s appearances in Memphis in ‘93? I don’t listen to that show as much as I used to, but I’d be interested to hear if Bruce has any stories about what pretty much ended up being the beta version of the evil boss Mr McMahon a few years later.

JRisms just grate on me now. He also frankly depresses me because it really feels as though if he weren't always working he'd cease to be. Wrestling is all he has.

The Skittles plugs and being lit on fire by Kane are the only highlights.

That time he called Lita "multi orgasmic in a cosmic sort of way" was great too.

listened to Shane Douglas's first show. About the build to Barely Legal. Nothing particularly interesting and Shane has a tendency to deviate and meander like Foley. Never knew that he made 55 dollars one show working for WWF in 95 against Hall.

As I've said before, Duggan's pod with Mooney was Hacksaw repeating the same 3 things each week.

1> HOOOOO! Tough Guy! USA! The fans still love ol' Hacksaw!

2> Andre choked me with his singlet in 88 and I had to swallow his giant juice.

3> Wrasslers rode from town to town with a beer in hand, a stripper by their side and a midget in the backseat.

A couple of red flags on Nash's pod today:

Nash indicated he's going days without sleeping now. His wife will go to bed and he stays up binging Netflix or whatever all night alone.

Later Nash stated he should start drinking wine on the air as it has no intoxicating affects on him. Drinking during the pod is the EXACT catalyst of why Kevin made his son quit cold turkey and led to his heart attack.
