Having covered the addiction treatment/behavioral health field for 7+ years, I can tell you that staff members (and executives) also being in recovery is extremely common. To be fair to Flair, it surprised me at first too, but yes, it’s definitely a thing. Then it turned out that the doctor treating him at the center was also a patient in his 5th year of recovery, which left Flair aghast.
One surprising bit from Heenan's daughter that Alkieper didn't cover was the fact that apparently Ray Stevens lived with the Heenan's for his last ten years of life. Odd Bobby wouldn't have gotten him an office gig at Titan then instead of Stevens working in the AWA from 85-88. IIRC Ray was actually working indy shots pretty much up to at least the early 90s. Those results aren't easy to find on the major result websites.
If he's part of the modern AEW talk, it's all white noise. No idea how @BruiserBrody doesnt know who this is, given as much love you have for Cornette, you would know he raved about RJ repeatedly and says he’s too funny for the wrestling business and should be on real tv.
As one would expect from Marty, the show is a bit of a mess as the "topics" are all over the place. If he's part of the modern AEW talk, it's all white noise.
