I was reading an article on Yahoo earlier about how to portray Brock in the game. They said with the way he dominated Cena, they couldn't really have him that broken in the game. I agree, but why not add a "Beat The Beast" mode akin to the "Beat The Streak" mode? Sure regular Brock would be right up there with Cena, but in that mode he would hit hilariously overpowered German Suplexes that are nearly impossible to counter, and hammerfists.

In a way it's kind of ridiculous that the intros are one of the first big things in the wrestling game hype train, going back to, what, the playstation era, but yet when the actual game itself comes out you might watch an intro once, and then NEVER want to see it again cause it just takes too damn long.

Agreeing with fazzle. I remember what a huge deal entrances were when Attitude was coming out but I'm in the same boat. First go-round, I will watch it. Maybe few times more for a created wrestler but by the time I get invested in the game, I am skipping to playing.

HHH was *way* more unstoppable. Brock was #3 behind BikerTaker, who was a major pain in the ass. Both Taker's and HHH's finishers were match enders if they hit, no matter what. If you went into a match with either one and they had a finisher, you had better counter it or the match is over. Angle was #4 on that list, because he would counter everything. You had to use quick moves against all of these guys to start, and spamming running attacks as well to build up your finishers, and you *had* to have two of them.

I've been on a TEW05 kick for the last month or so. Not doing any custom databases, just using the characters and promotions of the CornellVerse. Anybody play TEW2013 yet? Some reviews make me contemplate purchasing it but I've yet to see one that discusses how it's changed beyond the interface layout.

TEW just ends up taking too much for me. Plus, I hate their momentum measurement. I could never get anyone going. I guess I had too much 50/50 booking or something.
I did hear that in the newer TEW you can assign a booker and they'll book the shows for you. You just handle the finances, wrestler acquisitions, etc.

The only thing I find really annoying about TEW is that some of the stock storylines have angles that aren't set up properly (meaning you'll have to edit the database you have it make sense before starting a game) and writing your own storyline is a fucking chore and a half. I've also found it pretty damn annoying when I take over a fed that's "cutting edge" and that really translates to "crash TV." It's pretty detailed and fun, but it definitely takes time.
