The roster and unlockable characters for WWE 12 are supposed to be revealed during Fan Axxess for Summerslam this week. Pretty quick for the reveal it seems although someone from THQ said one mystery Superstar will not be revealed until September and DLC will be announced later as well.

I don't know why they would keep one character secret, unless it is someone scheduled to make a surprise return down the road (a la Foley, who I don't think is free to be on WWE TV until then, but was released too soon to be included in the game I would think).

It's probably Brock Lesnar and whatever that deal is Heyman brokered for him that doesn't involve actually returning to WWE. PWInsider said today that THQ had worked up his model for inclusion in games.

I don't know what it is, but there's something to be said for using the defaults over CAWs. I usually like to see if I can create a realistic fed using just the standard roster.. hoping they tweaked the Universe mode enough to actually fully do it this time out. All I'm really hoping for, on the default roster, is a non-Legend version of heel Jericho (short hair, short trunks) as he was normally my go-to guy in the last game.

The tweak I want is a simple one. The ability to make tag teams within stables. Like say the Outsiders within the NWO. It sucked I had to pick one or the other. Messed up shit to have the Dungeon and have to have the Faces of Fear seperate from them.

Unless I missed something, there was no way to do it.

I think there was. It was something like the first two guys in the members slot were a tag team.. but they'd come out as the stable name, and not a tag team name of their own. So yeah, I agree, it needs more layers of customization.

I think it really needs to be stated at least 2-3 times a year how awesome Brock was following the feud with 'Taker in '02. I'd almost be willing to include the stuff with the Rock, but that HIAC with 'Taker was off-the-charts awesome.
