It's incredibly difficult. They have the worst servers ever. So no, it's not just you.

I've been told it's easier to access early in the morning, when there's less people on. Don't know if that's true or not.

I stink at this game. I mean I can win easily enough but I have to learn to quit holding down the grapple button because I keep slapping on abdominal stretches over and over and over.

It's really hard to kick out more than twice in a match.

I kicked out of a finisher - very easily, actually - earlier today and was quite proud of myself. Then I kicked out of another one using a "comeback" sequence (which I could not finish despite hitting the right buttons). That was a good match.

Those stages seem like their way of saying "screw you" to people who wanted the ability to interupt moves re-implemented. Every time I go to Pedigree someone, someone else punches me.

Outsider Story is HHH hate in a nutshell: he shows up just in time to turn a months-long, company-encompassing storyline that puts four young talents over into a storyline all about him.

The "Reviving Jackknife" is probably the most random, strangest cutscenes ever in one of these games, and that's including Zombie Santino.

The United Kingdom stable is booked like a true WWE storyline too, in terms of how fast a stable comes and goes.

I had no idea what the flaming finisher meant, other than something about "Super Finishers do more damage". This makes sense now, thanks.

The last match I lost (Daniel Bryan challenging Nash for the US title at the Clash of Champions) I swear I did get into the little box, so I let go and the meter sank back to nothing. On a better note, Bryan is fun to play as.

I also didn't realize until playing this game that I'm actually pretty fond of the David and Michael theme.

Is that the rap song that goes "It's all about me! It's all about me!"?

It has tribal chanting, then talks about being all about power.

Yeah, that's the one. Yeah, I kinda like that one.

I changed many entrance themes around on this game.

In Universe, whenever I wrestle a match, I have to do so with one of the wrestler's custom theme in the background the whole match. Quite annoying.

Don't pause the game or the theme will play. This was an issue with SvR11 as well that they later patched up.

I don't remember pausing the game though the game will automatically pause at the beginning of the match to ask which wrestler I wanted to be. Hopefully, an upcoming patch helps.

Downloaded a PS3 system update and all looks to be fixed.

Another question, is there any way to manually change titles around in Universe mode? I don't really need Rey running around w/ a WCW spraypainted belt. I can do this just fine in Exhibition but not in Universe.

I think it's under Options but I haven't touched Universe mode yet for some godforsaken reason.

The system update turned out to be a big tease as now the music playing throughout the match is more sporadic but still there.

So Brock won the rumble, champs were HBK of one brand and Rock on the other. Brock attacked HBK, said he was coming after him at Mania. Rock faces Lesnar next RAW. Brock feuds with HBK until Mania when the main event is Rock vs Brock for the Title. HBK faces Road Warrior Animal in a non-title match.

Might just stick to exhibition.

Yea, had the same thing happen to me with Cody Rhodes winning the Rumble, attacking Orton as his choice and feuding with Orton until Wrestlemania. Then come Wrestlemania for some reason Cody's facing Punk for the title, while Orton is defending against Barrett.

Luckily this year you can easily fix it with the tap of the RB/R1, so my card still went on as planned.

This finally arrived today. I've had some pretty fun matches so far but I can't figure out the breaking point stuff at all. I try mashing all face buttons and that doesn't really do anything. I did end up winning one match with the Lebell Lock but I have no idea how I managed.

Mashing buttons is right, but you have to target the limb extensively to have a shot at a submission.

Unless your John Cena. Then you can just take moves for a while and slap on the shitty STF for the win. I have to assume it's that realistic...I would never play as John Cena.

Yeah, for the last five years or so, Cena's STF targets your neck and COMPLETELY disregards the leg so you can get faster submissions. That's why I think Bryan's Cattle Mutilation might be based off torso damage.

Yeah, I actually like the submission system a lot this year. You can still get them, but you actually have to work on them. You can't just beat up a guy for a bit, then slap on a full nelson for the win like last year's game.

And yeah, I'm really glad they let you actually fix the computer's dumb ass matchups while still keeping title matches intact. I remember in 2011's Universe mode, the computer seemed hell bent on pushing my Ax and Smash CAWs to the WWE Championship, even though I wanted them in the tag ranks.

Yeah that makes sense. Come to think of it, I won the WHC with Mark Henry's bear hug too. Orton tapped out pretty quickly, probably because of the torso damage I had caused prior. I recall Here Comes The Pain was similar. You really had to focus on a body part if you wanted a submission win. But it was easier because you just had to mash on X. Maybe the games after that were the same, but I didn't play too many of them.

But yeah, I like this game. Took me a while to figure out Sin Cara's Moonsault Side Slam. He's pretty fun to play as.

Anyone get the glitch where you get DQ'd for doing the reversal where you do a go-behind and kick the guys leg out? Seems to only happen to me in tag matches.

I am so glad I am done with the OUTSIDER story. I don't even know why it's called that but jesus christ that was the boringest, most monotonous RTWM I've ever played.

I finally was able to get into Community Creations and downloaded the Impact arena. Afterwards, all my created tag teams were erased.

Funny moment when I was playing yesterday (this cutscene may have been in last year's game, but I don't remember): In my WWE Universe, Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler formed an alliance that morphed into a tag team. Brock beat Randy Orton fairly handily in a one-on-one match, while Ziggler was at ringside playing "manager". Dolph came in with a chair and started wailing on Randy. Brock then stops him, as if to say Orton had enough. Then Brock grabbed the chair and started laying into Orton some more. Funny stuff.

Also, something I hadn't seen before: I was playing as Big Show, and beat Drew McIntyre in a pretty brutal back and forth singles match on RAW. Drew ended up leaving on a stretcher, and now he's unavailable for matches. The brand logo next to his name is replaced by a blood spot right now.
