The latest Funtime Arcade (King of the Ring) finally used proper aspect ratios on the game footage. Hooray! Also, I love watching the episodes on the TV viathe 360 youtube app.

I also missed Monsoon_Classic winning the #WhatJoeDidLastWeek shout-out contest the first time I watched the episode it was featured in. Good work!

Thank you but in all fairness, IIRC, there was only one other person I had to beat out.

But yeah, their videos are pretty great. I especially enjoyed the Royal Rumble ep . . .

Finally got into the WWE Community Creations place and have been going a little nuts download wise.

Still trying to get a hang of the controls as all I seem to do right now is tie up into submissions. Having to use the R1/L1 buttons in addition is not easy.

THQ has apparently cancelled all of their games that were due to be released in 2014, including UFC and WWE '14. It appears the company is on its deathbed.

Releasing crap like Homefront and Red Faction Armageddon (effectively killing that franchise) will do that to you. They didn't have a good '11 quality wise aside from Saint's Row (and WWE '12 if you ask some people).

Homefront had such a great buzz but the final product was so bad. If that game had even been an ounce better, they would have been in good shape.

Also they paid Disney for the rights to something, won't be able to make whatever game they were gonna make, and aren't getting any of that money back from Disney.

They said they were dropping development for kids and movie licensed games, which seems like a really bad move. From personal experience in retail, that shit sells. I think most successful developers have learned they have to put out the lower quality titles that still appeal to the masses to fund the higher quality titles.

I had that tape for years but probably only kept the game for a few months. I couldn't figure out the synergy between the tape and the game when I was six. I was wowed by the clips of the Strike Force/Hart Foundation match and was upset they never showed the finish on the tape.

I do however have the Wrestling Challenge board game.

WWE 12's Universe Mode has such bizarre moments it's hilarious. I have a stable where the guys are feuding with each other, but will always team up. They'll beat up people before matches, but attack each other after singles matches. Absolutely hilarious and weird stuff.

I had a strange angle where Daniel Bryan beat Animal, leading to a series of manager alliances and heel turns. That's all well and good, except the tag partner they assigned me was world tag team champion Sin Cara while my opponents were WWE tag team champion Animal an the OTHER world tag team champion, Rey Mysterio. It suggested Bryan an Cara become permanent partners but I worried that would disrupt the Masked Marvels do I declined. Rey then beat us down after losing a tag match where Natalya showed up an wandered around the ring. Then I lost a match to Animal and Nikki Bella kicked me in the groin (she came out to run Natalya off in the prior match), but she was at ringside with me in the feud blow-off.

Yeah...I had a moment sort of like that yesterday. I was playing as Raven against Owen Hart. Michelle McCool came down at the start of the match, and just sort of wandered around ringside before disappearing. I beat Owen, and then Eve came running out and kicked Owen in the groin. Very weird.

Question: Is there a way to "de-activate" titles? I unlocked the Attitude Era WWF Championship, and would rather use that then the "Cena" WWE Title. Is there any way to do that?

You can edit the shows to use whatever 4 titles you want (any title in the game can be "major" and I think the same holds true for minor, but the 3rd always has to be a women's title and the 4th tag, so no dropping the Divas for the Cruiserweights) and that will be the one people are ranked for. The flip side is, unless it's part of the January patch coming with Savage and the rest, the game's sorting system doesn't understand any of these changes when it comes to the MITB or Royal Rumble winner. I was using the Undisputed design on Raw but didn't like that the MITB winner wouldn't challenge for it, so back to the current design I went. It works out ok with minor titles so I did keep the Classic IC title as the main one in the game.

I gave all the titles I don't want lingering about in the game (basically the 4 duplicate world titles and a few others) to Vince McMahon, and he and Cole are also the undisputed tag champions (I have the tag titles split). Vince is a Legend and Cole is banished to NXT with Jacob Cass, so neither show up to annoy me in the main Universe mode.

I was just going to say, I had several problems with searching for community content last year too. Sometimes I would find the exact thing I was looking for only to be told the server was down when I clicked download.

Wrestler downloads and whatnot worked perfect for me last year, I don't ever remember getting a message saying the server was down. As for matches, I don't play those online so I couldn't tell you if those worked or not.

I had to attempt to download everything at least 5 times before it finally downloaded, and then sometimes the servers would "go down" in the middle of the download.

So yeah, it was broken as hell last year too
