Patch description:
"Fixes problem with MITB / Royal Rumble winners not getting title matches"

What has happened since the patch:
Batista won the Rumble, then won the title at Elimination Chamber before Mania. Mick Foley won MITB but is not acknowledged as the MITB winner anywhere.

I never had a problem with MITB before, unless they were fixing the fact you couldn't challenge for old title designs.

I think I have grown increasingly tired of almost every FUCKING GAME released to the public basically being in beta fucking testing form because they don't seem to be checking that it fucking works properly.

The patch idea was supposed to be used to fix minor problems in games released but lately almost every game (rare exceptions) seems to be using the public to test it and then trying to slap band-aids on the fucking thing. I'm sick of it. And I'm increasingly sick of the band-aids fucking the games up worse when we know odds are they'll only get approved for three patches!

After NCAA and MADDEN and MLB THE SHOW, WWE 12 is pushing all those same fucked up buttons.

WWE '12 TITLE UPDATE PATCH (01/30/2012)

I couldn't even get as far as this guy when I was trying last night. It would just hang after I clicked Community Creations. If you watch the WIFI light it will flicker a bit and then just go solid. To me it looks like a "handshaking" issue. I am not sure why this is so difficult for them to figure out. I never had issues like this with last year's game. =\

Supposedly they are working on the server right now. I don't buy it. Seems like this game is headed towards wash levels of screwed up. Shame too, had a lot of potential to be really great.

I think im done with this, downloaded all the DLC and had some fun but once again its fallen into me just spamming the shit outa moves to get matches over and done with, not even TLC fun is keeping me entertained.

How i long for the times where i could easily have 45mins wasted setting up the perfect double table spot.

Same here aside from my gripe above. I usually just play exhibition matches anyway so it's not a colossal deal breaker for me.

I got 99% of the CAW's I was after when the server spent a day not being a dick to me. I don't care much about playing online so I'm good.

I noticed the update once again deleted all my custom tag teams, which is pretty stupid. They've had that problem since at least two games ago, I think.

After hearing about all of this I'm glad I didn't pick up the game despite the hints at it being a solid enough title.

Quick tip for those downloading DLC. When you are finished downloading DLC, you need to quit the game using your respective system's dashboard button. Worked like a charm for me on PS3. Now, I still have YoshiRyan (that's Mason Ryan and Yoshi Tatsu) dominating the tag ranks. Also, Macho Man being only a 90 is a travesty of the highest order.

Anyway, I'm glad the DLC all came with new submissions (except for HBK's leglock). Spices up the submission game a bit.

Well, speaking of Wrestlefest... THQ is promising an "old school" surprise. Supposedly a trailer for a new Wrestlefest game got leaked but I can't find it anywhere. Make it for the PSN and XBLA and it will be a day one purchase. I wish it would have Hogan, Warrior,and Slaughter in it. Those were my favorite character in the game.

Unfortunately no. I'm actually surprised that in 2012 no one ripped the leaked trailer when it was up on YT.

That's a bummer. I'm sure a new one will come out soon enough. I don't have an iPad/iPhone so I don't really care about it that much right now, would just be neat to see what Cena, etc. look like in that style of graphics.

I'm still having fun with WWE '12, despite the various glitches and annoyances. I now have Raven built up as a top heel. He had a mini feud with Stone Cold where he nearly won the WWE Championship, then ended up interfering in an Austin/HBK match, where he ended up giving Michaels a concussion after an Evenflow DDT. Michaels came back eventually, only to get ambushed by Raven before a match, and taking a couple Evenflows on the concrete. Then after the same match, Raven sandwiched Shawn's head between the ringpost and his foot. I now have Raven with his new Flock (consisting of Perry Saturn and Mason Ryan) dominating the resurrected ECW (in place of the Superstars show).

Yea, when it happens it usually only happens for like a quick second though. But when you screen capture it, it's the most hilarious thing ever.

It's a fault of the collision detection every now and then, when you do a move on a weapon. (In that pic, the stairs.) He gets stuck between the move animation, and the weapon effect animation and kind of goes crazy for a second lol.

That would be the server issues they are continuing to have. Seriously, the server is a bugged out fuck of epic issues.
