Patch on January 30 and DLC on January 31. It includes a retro masked Kane that wasn't originally scheduled, for free.

Yea, that's the one I have. Pretty damn good job as it matches up against the in game superstars perfectly. Did a good job with the mask texture. There's also a near perfect Jeff Hardy under What's Hot that looks like an actual in game model.

Btw, It's Xbox.

Yeah, I have that one or one very close to it on my PS3 version. Only downside is that the stupid computer keeps trying to put "regular" Kane into matches when I want to push the masked one instead.

You have to make sure the shows don't include those rosters.

Also, don't use Free Agent, sometimes the game will use that group to pull mystery or surprise wrestlers for storyline pieces.

Yeah, though it should be pretty easy to recreate. Or, I haven't checked, but I wonder if its one of the numbered entrance animations in the creation section?

I've never tried advance lighting and what not since WM XIX (it's fun, but seems like a lot of work) so perhaps it can be made there. I don't like Savage's music either, but the elbow drop looks sweet.

Yeah the tune they used for Savage doesn't sound as epic as it used to. Gonna have to download that one and add it in manually. I kinda wish it was classic Savage lookswise too..

"Free" Kane costs 80 MSP for some reason.

One noticeable change to Universe Mode with the patch is you can now properly exit from a match during the Draft without messing things up. After a match, the "Rematch Menu" button includes a "Draft Event" option where you can watch the draftee do his or her thing before it takes you back to the match card menu. Helpful if you only have time for a few matches.

Stephenson is Tweeting that the 80MS Kane is some kind of regional glitch and should be worked out soon.

I had that option previously so I don't think that has anything to do with the patch...

The patch description specifically mentions "Makes Draft Event functional" - I didn't know what that meant, but this is the first I recall seeing that option when I hit B. Truth be told, I may have never hit B assuming it would mess things up, I just recall seeing a guy get drafted followed by me having to manually exit out of the next match after it automatically started if I couldn't continue playing.

I may restart a Universe now that this patch has been released. Was getting sick of custom music playing during random matches.

Though, the pesky Royal Rumble matchup screen when doing a Clash of the Champions show glitch wasn't addressed. I'm guessing that's because nobody actually uses the Clash as a weekly show.

As fun as it was ending a match with a double axe handle, I have to remember to make that Savage's signature move to set up the big elbow.

Patch hasn't made creation more accessible for me. It just goes to spinning circle then kicks me away. Disappointing as getting used to the controls.

Same here. Couldn't get on at all last might. I actually had more success before the patch.

I hadn't noticed this before, but apparently you cannot create "advanced" entrances for DLC wrestlers. I tried it with Batista last night and sure enough there was no option. It just went straight to the easy setup. That being said, Smash's solo entrance makes a good replacement for heel Batista.

You probably aren't damaging the arms enough. They're the hardest body part to damage.

The latest news I'm reading about the patch is....that it completely broke the game and all things that worked now join the screwed up pile. And it removed the work around of the crotch blur so an accurate Y2J is now completely impossible to make.
