I have a feeling Jacob Fatu is gonna outshine Solo. I'm looking forward to see this Bloodline Civil War lands. Looks like Solo/Tongas/Jacob vs Roman/Usos and (Hikuleo? Are they gonna sign Umaga's kid?)

I like how the Tongans were even uneasy at the sight of Jacob Fatu when they were doing the Ones at the end of the show.

Poor Paul Heyman, what a terrible night for him.

His best friend gets brutally attacked by a Scottish maniac.

Then the most dangerous Samoan of them all, Jacob Fatu shows up.

And then Kayla Braxton announces she’s leaving the company.

Never heard Indianapolis called beautiful before. That's sweet.

To be fair, Indy seems to get rave reviews every time it hosts a major event (and they’ve had a lot since Lucas Oil Stadium opened).

I don’t blame WWE for striking while the iron is hot and locking up these deals to host future major events in stadiums. I do wonder, though, what happens when the post-Vince honeymoon period wears off and they are staring down the barrel of trying to fill these massive venues for multiple-night shows.

It should be motivating at this point, but that isn't how it ever seems to work. They have more to prove now than they have in almost thirty years.

They need a new logo.

How short do you have to be for Liv Morgan to tower over you?

I haven't seen it but it seems like people are losing their mind over the Wyatt thing last night. I'm filled with inertia.

it’s a well done promo and production piece for something that would be interesting and productive on anything that isn’t a wrestling show.

I just don't think I like how exploitative it feels.
Generally I would agree but these are characters Bo was involved in creating.

One or another way, Bo was going to resume whatever story he and his brother had schemed.

Posting this here since, AFAIK, WWE is the last place they wrestled before they came out, but does anyone think that Gabbi Tuft will get signed to an A-level promotion, or even a B-level one?

I’m gonna say no because she was never a good worker. But if Tony brought her in for ROH I wouldn’t be surprised.

45 year olds coming off of 10 year layoffs (that didn’t have a ton of name recognition and work rate ability) don’t have an easy road ahead of them.

Hell, CM Punk has both of those qualities and has had a rocky comeback.

That being said, The New York Times covered her first match back since her transition so I could see someone giving her a shot if she is serious about her comeback.

I watched the Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy interview. I thought the parts where Bo was talking were actually good tbh. But it's totally ruined by all the shots with Uncle Howdy. That shit is completely goofy. That was always the problem with the Bray shit too. He might cut a good promo or part of a good promo and then the supernatural or puppet shit would happen.

"the supernatural or puppet shit" is a good turn of phrase.

Did we think that Wyndham had star potential when he was still Husky Harris? Because that's not quite how I remember it.

No, but he proved people wrong once he got to talk. Bo is just a dork punching way more than his weight.

That’s what I thought about Keith Lee!

Dijak has had a lot less injury/health issues though. It’s easier to be a wrestler into your forties with Dijak’s frame than Lee’s. I guess you talked me into his potential with AEW!

I agree he’s a great talent and a potential asset but historically in the business when someone claims “I was not a problem or difficult to work with”, my red flag alert starts to flutter.

You can find weirdos who Stan anybody who has a cup of coffee in WWE but I think drums are generally only beaten for guys who have some sort of missed potential.

It doesn’t take long to separate the Cody Rhodes from the Damian Sandows’ of the world.

My red flag with Dijak is how long he was on the roster without ever getting any sort of lasting notable role in the main roster (sorry weirdos who defend Retribution). Keith Lee got more of a shot than Dijak and he barely got a shot at all.

I think it’s as simple as they’re budget cutting the midcard because they’re following the UFC formula. They have NXT and will fill spots cheaply with those guys even though some of them aren’t good. Additionally they have only five matches per PPV. So they have to trim things down because there’s not a lot of people who will be happy with never having a match on one.
