I was there, amazed they didn't mention the "Cotton Eyed Joe" part of the crowd warmup.

What? It was literally a big media event which was only a three minute walk from my house, I wasn't missing that. Besides, never been to a campaign announcement before.

By the way, Republican rallies are where to go if you want to find a baddie. The entire crowd was extremely attractive and affluent, very different feel from the many Democratic candidate events I've attended. I felt like I was noticed and looked at sideways but that could also be because I was the only person I saw wearing almost all black.

All black would stand out at a Klan rally.

bernie said he would support Biden if he ran in 2024. Still no sign of anyone else coming forward.

His vaccine bullshit is just horrible. It's a shame, because a lot of his other actions are commendable. His work with environmental issues, work for minority populations, working for poor communities all are things that would make you think he would be a good candidate. Then the vaccine stuff...

it's fitting for his original image and message as the anti-government, clean up the swamp shit. Not that I think Waco should be entirely seen that way, but it is.

Even in the extremely online America, losing the New York Post is probably not helpful for Trump's candidacy. The days-long headlines at Drudge Report (again) also probably not helpful to him, especially with the whole, you know, extremely online thing we got going on.
