100% promise he's tried to bang at least three of the women. Britt, Skye, and someone else. Minimum. At least take a swing at Shida so Omega can beat the shit out of him.

But honestly now that he knows he can do whatever he wants with getting slaps on the wrist it's gonna get worse. I just want it to be funny.

Something will happen the week of the Wembley show. They're all meeting each other at the taping, they're all gonna fly over and do the show and all of them are gonna fly back. I assume they are all flying on the same plane.

CMFRT is gonna have a private jet to keep away from everyone and set everything in motion by being big leaguers. Jericho is gonna be the one to beat his ass, too.

It doesn't hurt the product to have some behind the scenes drama going on. Impact has been drama free for years and watched its fanbase erode. When the only intrigue about your product is the backstage drama then you're '99-'00 WCW...or 2010-11 Impact!

AEW's backstage intrigue has interferred so heavily with the product that it's pretty remarkable. I just wish it didn't taint people I very much enjoyed watching, but that's modern times.

Yeah in this case the backstage drama is a huge negative because of how personally disappointing it is. This isn't what people thought CM Punk would turn into. I already don't watch the Saturday show much because I hate watching him and I hate the storyline they're running with too. Punk rampaging around like HHH berating jobbers and threatening them was not on my bingo card. Getting his peers like Chris Daniels banished is a bad thing to hear, I really don't wanna hear that shit. He's doing things that threaten people who finally deserve to reap some rewards from their work.

There's hilarious irony though of him sending people away after getting mad when people accused him of doing it to Colt. Fuck Colt too but seriously fuck off guy.

Tony has a boss he has to answer to, if you expected a different tact from him, that’s on you

Punk is a huge dick, TK is a huge mark. Recipe for disaster. So much $$$$$ to be made here, but Punk is being insufferable and Tony lets it happen.

Towards the start of Punk’s AEW Collision run, during the Canada tapings, Jungle Boy Jack Perry was brought to Collision to film a segment, and the two had words about the plans that Perry was supposedly pushing.

According to those on the side of Punk, Perry wanted to use real glass for a backstage segment. Punk was of the belief that he did this so he didn’t need to come to work the next week, which he sees as a big problem in the company.

Per Punk’s side of things, Perry was going against production, doctors and Tony Schiavone advising him not to do it and them telling him that smashing real glass was a safety hazard, and Perry wasn’t happy with that. Shortly after, there were guidelines put in place and forwarded to talent of things that required clearance.

Punk’s claim was that he was asked to step in and calmly said that they don’t do that on Saturdays (for Collision) and if he doesn’t like it, he could stay on Wednesdays. Word of the situation had made its way around the locker room, and was referred to as an argument. Punk's claim was that Perry was throwing a temper tantrum over the spot not being cleared and people trying to prevent it.

Lmao this guy is such a fuckin loser. He makes me sympathetic for wrestlers I don't even like. There's nothing wrong with telling someone you think that's a bad idea but he takes it to the next level.

The implication of the new guidelines being directly because of Punk is pretty good.

Tbh that story makes Perry sound like a moron. If it was just that I’d say Punk was being smart and pragmatic. But that’s clearly not it.

They aren’t even being applied. Tony must have came up with them just to appease him because nobody is actually doing anything they were told not to do.

When Tony Schiavone tells you that something is dumb and shouldn’t be happening, listen to a man who spent not only a literal decade with the dumbest people in wrestling history but also another half decade with Conrad.

He is the foremost authority of stupid people doing stupid things.

He should have listened but the part of dividing the locker room into goods and bads is something that needs to be stopped before things get much worse (it’s probably too late anyway)

Today on Kamala states the obvious…

I am kind of seeing why The Elite and Cody were so dismissive of the idea of bringing Punk in for All In despite it seeming like a natural fit with him being Chicago’s favorite son. Cody probably knew enough from working with Punk and Kenny and The Bucks worked enough with guys who worked with Punk to know that he wasn’t the right personality to be a franchise tentpole.

If the guys who built the company realized they didn’t need Punk (and one of them decided it was preferable to go back to WWE rather than stay in AEW as a pariah) then why does Tony Khan so insistent on the idea that Punk is irreplaceable?

Because Kenny Omega is a fucking tool and the Bucks peaked a decade ago.

...although that might just be my personal reasoning.

Punk was right about Perry's stupid idea he just went about it in the usual dumb Punk way. Some of this stuff is really minor to me but its the sheer number.

TK values Punk because the network values him. It's really not hard to understand.
