Nelly is headlining a country music festival in downtown Worcester Memorial Day Weekend.

This is a thing that is actually happening or I am having a stroke.

I knew he had those songs with Florida Georgia Line (and Tim McGraw way back in the mid ‘00s) but Idk he was a full blown country guy now.

He's done a bunch of guest spots on country songs in the last decade. Don't know if that's due to the rap game passing him by, legal troubles, or just taking advantage of a newfound successful career path but it's nothing too out of the ordinary.

GNR back at MetLife again this August. I think I have to go this time. I skipped it in 2021 but now that “Reckless Life” is back in the set I think it’s time to give them another chance. I’m also seeing Metallica but in the most cucked seat available so “seeing” may be a figure of speech.

So, Jason Newstead (former bassist of Metallica for those living under a rock) formed a solo band and they're apparently coming to NY this summer. My friend is going nuts about getting tickets but I'm undecided. When I saw Metallica back in '04, Rob had already joined, I guess seeing Newstead this summer will complete the group?

It'll make it out here next year because it will either sell well and they gotta expand or sell badly and they'll blame the east for it. City would eat it up, for sure, and it's a great kinda show to get a group together for to drink and goof on. Starship as the backing band for Michaels and McGrath doing "I Just Wanna Fly" while ingesting tequila and making fun of the psychotic middle aged female fans while lowkey debating sleeping with one? Fuck yeah.

A show like that for me is everything before or after. Like I see lineups like that and know that the odds of running into at least two Tubes and a Hooter at a bar after is worth more than any live performance could be.

I've heard "She's A Beauty" at least once a day for the last month and fuck the Tubes, too.

I don’t have tickets to the Parti Gras yet but I did sign up for the gay babies equivalent…The Pop 2000s Tour. Headlined by O-Town (without Ashley Parker Angel), Ryan Cabrera, BBMak, the one guy from LFO that is still alive and host Chris Kirkpatrick from NSync.
