I was always like 30 points off of the top 10 players list. Still, it was damn cool to play. There were really only a few technical glitches with the host (sometimes during the "stat breaks" I couldn't hear him at all" but the game itself ran pretty damn smoothly.

I think it might only be available in the US and Canada right now. Try setting a reminder for the next show on Saturday and see if the game downloads for you.

It's worth checking out when you can though. Even with the glitches (tt IS a beta), it was very, very fun.

When you actually start adding in prizes and rewards for playing well, I could see this being a huge deal. As it was, I kept feeling like I was achieving something when I'd get in the 25,000+ range on every round.

I'm pretty sure it is. The rest of the Beta schedule has been posted on the Dashboard, and starting on the 12th, it looks like there's going to be games EVER night for the rest of June, including two epic 6 hour sessions on the 27th and 28th.

I downloaded the 1 vs 100 beta and I'll be hopefully playing at 5 o'clock on Saturday. If anything I might be trying for the E3 trivia at 7 if I can't make the 5 o'clock game.

I'm with Fazzle...I'm looking forward to 1 vs 100 more then anything else going on. It was just fun in a way I haven't had in some time. I'm sure after playing it a bunch of times the allure will wear off, but at that point we'll be rewarded for good playing with prizes. Kind of makes up for it.

Wolfenstein 3D was released yesterday on Xbox Live Arcade. It's costs 400 points and it's an easy 200 achievement points.

The Xbox booth at E3 was kinda sad. I got taken through a preview of what's coming in the fall (Instant 1080p streaming actually works, prepare to freak out), but eventually it was just "Here's what's coming" and I wanted to say "Everything you, the presenter of this, like about the Xbox, makes me hate it more somehow."

Anybody else play the Fable 2 DLC? I just beat the main story last week but since I'm trying to save up the money to buy Castle Fairfax I figured I would tackle the DLC. Pretty fun.

The undead necromancer quest inside the cursed skull was pretty cool. I also enjoyed being able to turn my trusty dog into a husky with a potion from Murgro.

I've seen some reviews of Ninja Gaiden 2 that were not too favorable... has anyone played it?

I loved Ninja Gaiden on XBox and I'm wondering why this one might not be as awesome.

I haven't played the Xbox NG, but NGII is pretty good. It can be really hard, of course. But it depends on how much you'd be paying for it. I bought ti when Best Buy had it on sale a few months ago for $10. I wouldn't pay more than $20, personally.

Ninja Gaiden 2 was alright. Ninja Gaiden was a lot better and a lot harder as well. I sorta breezed NG 2 for the most part but got pretty bored with it after getting about half way through. Luckily I think it only sells for 29.99 so for that price I say go ahead and pick it up.

M:tG Duels of the Planeswalkers on XBLA is a damned good game.

Had a blast playing against Thoth and hearing his reaction to seeing 7 2/2 tokens pop onto the board before ending his life.

I started with the original Magic: The Gathering card game. I had a bunch of awesome cards for that, still do somewhere. I never got into the 9 bazillion new era/retreads/whatever. But I used to love some M:tG back in the day. Even had the PC game for awhile, that was... interesting.

I've got a black Shadow deck that a now ex-friend gave to me a while ago. He purchased two pre-made decks online..the aforementioned black and a green control deck (tons of forced mana usage with flashback walls to gain extra mana). Found out he couldn't play the black for shit..let me try my hand on it and for my birthday just said "Here..happy birthday"..found out the deck cost more than 100 to build.
