Personally I'm hoping for CS: Source for about €2-€5. They have a new Valve Complete pack, I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped that ( But technically it already is at a good price.)

Ah, I have most of them anyway. I had half life one, but my brother used half life 2 (when it came out) on his pc, so i never got source. It doesn't come with orange box & i got left4dead off steam at another time they had it on sale. CS: Source has been one of the gaps I never got...1.6 is better anyway.

Today's sale is probably one of the more appealing to me. I don't know what it's like for the US but Ghostbusters is €10, Spore is €20. Resi 5 is €19 (I already have) Left 4 dead €7.50. Borderlands €37 (though i can get it in store for €35).

I wonder what the follow up will be tomorrow.

I just realized my Castlevania: Lords of Shadow that I had gotten a deal on the pre-order on Amazon still says it is coming out in a couple weeks. Realized I've heard nothing on this in a long time, so just found out now it has been delayed again.

Also, speaking of pre-order deals, for those who are Dead Space fans Amazon has the Dead Space 2 pre-order for 360 and PS3 up for $49 shipped. Still a long way off, but you lock in the cheaper price if you know you want it in at least a year.

Yeah, it's what I usually try to do. It's a big reason why with my huge 360 collection I think I've only paid MSRP on like maybe 3 or 4 games. Nice to see you got good deals on Mafia II and Alan Wake. I'm scouting deals on those. I locked in a good deal on Bioshock 2 myself also. Still need to play the first but pretty sure I will like it based on what I've heard with Arkham Asylum comparisons and how much I like that.

Anyone got any info on This is Vegas? That sounded good to me but it seems like it got delayed again. Is it not going to be good? Anything on it?

Burnout Paradise vs. Burnout Revenge - which one do you guys recommend?

I definitely want to buy one or the other and I'm leaning towards Revenge because the lack of a Crash Mode in Paradise concerns me. I'm also not crazy about how the whole "Overworld Map" thing sounds.

Revenge. Paradise was fun but I didn't like the whole sandbox aspect of the game.

On the contrary, I loved Paradise's free roaming world. Especially online as there are a ton of challenges to do and it's a blast. The avalanche of DLC (most of it free) was the icing on the cake.

So I have gone through 2 Xbox live headsets in the past 24 hours. The first headset is one I've had since the Xbox came out, it was bundled in with the Xbox. After the first one, i guess, broke last night I went out and got a new one today. Well after playing a few hours of Halo, the newest one ended up having the same problem as the first.

The issue I had with the first one was that very randomly I couldn't talk into it. I could hear my team but I couldn't speak into it. I tried to send someone a message and it kept giving me the "Unmute your headset" error message. With the new one, instead of not just being able to talk into it, it just pretty much stopped working altogether. I couldn't hear anyone though it and I couldn't speak into it and when I went to try and send a message to see if that would work, the Xbox couldn't even register the headset being plugged into the controller.

I'm gonna try to call Xbox tomorrow morning but I have no idea if it's Halo causing these issues or if it's the controller or I should just say fuck the wired headsets and cop out and buy a wireless headset? Either way I'm not happy and I'm wondering if anyone else has had issues similar to mine with the wired headsets?

Yeah, tried both headsets in 2 controllers. Same problem. I'm very confunsed on what happens. I think it just has something to do with the wire as every once in awhile it will get caught on me or something and it causes the headset to jerk a bit. So I'm just really leaning towards just shelling out the money for a wireless headset but I'm also worried if I do that, I still might get the same issue I'm having with the wired headsets and I'm wrong about the problem being with the wire.

My 360 died a horrible death as off Thursday night. I was playing Fifa then BOOM instant RROD.

So i went to game and they had an arcade for £109. I bought it, and now im back in the world of non pirated gaming. I feel less dirty.

They released their system update for USB flash drive compatibility yesterday. I still have 40 gigs free on my hard drive, but I might pick up a cheapo 2-4 GB drive just to back up some stuff. It's a nice feature to have, at least.

And the hacking scene is using the new update to be able to extract save games etc, will allow even more achivement whore cheating, as all you would have to do is rehash the files to your NXE gamertag.

Left 4 Dead 2 is $26.99 on Amazon. I always said I'd pick it up when it dropped below $30, but I'm broke from my WrestleMania expenditures. I figured someone might want to pick it up, though.

It's better on PC, mainly because they won't charge for the new update that's due whenever Valve finishes it.

Unrelated question: how easy/difficult is it to mod a 360 & burn games for it? It occurs to me that once I gave up XBL I started playing my PS3 more, and then I stopped playing 360 entirely...the console's got enough exclusives to keep me from outright selling it, but the cheapskate in me insists that I'd be better off modding it & burning the handful of games rather than paying full price for them only to dump them on Glyde at a discount a few months later.
