Update is live, downloading it now. There's an update for the DSi as well that I think you need before you can transfer from DSi to 3DS, but I've tried a dozen times and it fails everytime.
Nymyzys said:I picked up a copy of the increasingly-hard-to-find Metroid Prime Trilogy from Play-N-Trade for $35, last Sunday. As luck would have it, my Wii wouldn't recognize the disc. Rather than drive back to Evans, GA, I attempted to take it back to the store in North Augusta, SC which is a much shorter drive from here. I didn't want a refund, I just wanted the disc to work properly. There was a slight scratch on the bottom of the disc, so the clerk, a friend of mine, resurfaced the disc and tried it in their Wii. Still, nothing came up and it said the disc couldn't be read. Since each Play-N-Trade in my area is independently owned, I have to wait until I can drive back to Evans (this weekend sometime) before I can actually return the game.
A quick question for those of you that play a Wii with component cables. I assume you can play Gamecube games in Progressive Scan with these? My question is, I remember on the Gamecube, you had to hold the A button on the controller while the system was booting up, to turn on Progressive Scan. Is this still possible on the Wii?

Yes, and there is no need to hold down the A button; it will just work.
