There should be a system in place where I can submit video of this Pat the NES Punk's stupid face and have him murdered by the government.

Take it from me, Jack Swagger, I was just happy to see a post credits scene revealing both copies of WNC 90 were intact. I didn't think they were crazy, but the destruction scene looked pretty real.

Full list of the ten NES games for early adopters in Japan is out, no US list yet but if it's the same games I would be quite happy:
Super Mario Bros.
Donkey Kong Jr.
Balloon Fight
Ice Climber
The Legend of Zelda
Wrecking Crew
Mario Open Golf
Yoshi's Egg
Metroid
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

That's quite the lineup, and I fully expected the unannounced 5 games to be shit, so if we got Yoshi, Metroid, and Zelda 2 out of them I'd be quite happy. I was hoping for Punch-Out, but Metroid and Zelda 2 more than makes up for that.

I'm hoping the fact that Urban Champion is already available as a 3d classic or whatever they're calling them will save us from having it be one of the 10.

I was eyeballing some SNES games on Ebay. Would someone care to explain to me why Mega Man X3 is so fucking expensive? I was looking at a complete copy with the bidding up to $255.

A complete Earthbound goes for about $300-400, (with the cartridge alone fetching $100+) but I have seen that there is something to do with the music in the game that makes it impossible to release on Virtual Console, so the demand is through the roof.

The SNES version of Mega Man X3 is very rare due to its limited run and the fact that it was released during declining support of the console.[15][27] Despite higher-than-expected retail orders for their SNES products, Capcom had lowered its shipping of 16-bit titles during the fall 1995 release quarter due to supply and demand.[28][29] In more recent times, Mega Man X3 cartridges fetch very large sums of money on collector and auction websites such as eBay.[14]

Fair enough. All I remember about this one is that it's main selling point was you could play as Zero. You just couldn't fight any bosses with him, or use any of the bosses powers. Really pissed me off as a kid.

The Ambassador Games are there a day early, and it's the list from Japan. You need to go to eShop, settings, downloaded titles, and scroll down the list and "redownload" the NES games.

Damn and I left my 3DS at home. Was gonna bring it to work tomorrow to download the games as soon as they went up. Doh.

At least the list is the same, I was happy with the Japanese list.

There was a way though to kill Zero and give his sword to Megaman. It was pretty damn powerful too.

Savage, Undertaker, Hart, Michaels, DiBiase, Ramon, Luger, Tatanka, Crush, Yoko, Flair, Perfect. I did that from memory. Also, Hogan was champ when the game came out but he wasn't in it. He was, however, in the Genesis version but by the time that was out he was gone.

I guess it's because this fever has rotted my brain, but I was talking about the Dreamcast game, which I later found out had 22 characters in it. Almost enough for a real Royal Rumble.

No, WrestleMania: The Arcade Game had 6. Super WrestleMania had 10.

Yeah, I knew I meant that but ended up typing the wrong thing. Nintendon't support fat wrestlers. Genesis does!

I was having fun playing some handheld Zelda II today. I know I'm just going to get stuck and give up sooner than later (which I already did on the Wii), but so far, fun.

Sega Genesis Super Wrestlemania had only 8. At the time when I only had a Sega, I remember being pissed that SNES had Taker, Sid, Jake The Snake, and LOD while Sega had Papa Shango and IRS.

And Warrior, and Shawn, and Bulldog. The Genesis version is better because it actually has finishing moves and a championship mode. You can't beat the SNES version because every match is an exhibition.

I'll never forget the look on my dad's face when he found out that a Mario game wasn't bundled in with the N64.

I enjoy the age of near Canada/US dollar parity and standard game pricing we live in now. I distinctly remember in 2000 - when our dollar sucked and of course games were still on cartridges for N64 - No Mercy was like, $104+ at EB Games. I didn't even realize this (tax!) until I was paying for the thing and needed to borrow $5 from a friend. I don't recall the average N64 game costing that much.

I got most of my N64 games used or from Trade-a-Game, but I recall going to ToysRus every day when Shadows of the Empire came out to see if they finally had it in stock, and when they finally did on a Thursday night it cost me 90 something US dollars (after tax). It was well worth it, but if I'd shelled out all the money I had like that for say, War Gods, I'd have been quite angry.

Man downloading the ambassador games is a pain. Especially when you've downloaded a bunch of crap and have to go to the 2nd page everytime to find the NES games. And especially especially when you have to do it for two DSes. But at least the games load fast, I was expecting it to be like when the e-shop launched and was slow as shit. I'm hoping they streamline this a little better in the future and when the GBA games come out it's a simpler process.

I'm assuming it'll be easier tomorrow when they're 'officially' released.
