I'm just getting updates on Twitter. Could someone watching th press conference explain what Nintendo TVii is?
I think the simplest explanation is just that it's their take on Smart TV features. Uses the controller as a second screen and links through your cable system, DVR, Netflix/Hulu/Amazon, etc.Scared Smues said:I'm just getting updates on Twitter. I think it was the same with the first Wii. Close to the same dates even. They pushed it in the US in time for Black Friday then launched in Japan in early December.Scared Smues said:I'm not sure which is more of a shock: that we're getting a Nintendo console before Japan, or that a video game console is actually going to come with an HDMI cable. My mind is blown.

Wii U owners can wirelessly transfer content such as Miis, and WiiWare and Virtual Console games to their Wii U systems. Both systems will need to be connected to the Internet and the Wii U will need an SD card to facilitate the transfer. The process is very similar to transferring content from Nintendo DS to Nintendo 3DS or from Nintendo 3DS to Nintendo 3DS XL
Ditto. I misunderstood BUTT's comment about the $350 package.Spaceman Spiff said:I put in a pre-order for the Deluxe. I'll consider it my Christmas present to myself.
During an interview with Game Informer, Shigeru Miyamoto was asked several "burning" questions about the Super Mario lore. Questions like "Is Mario and Luigi's last name really Mario?" (the answer's no) and "Does Mario dye his hair brown?" (the answer is again...no). But one Q&A got my attention; Game Informer asked "In Super Mario Bros. 3, the Koopalings were suppose to be Bowser's children. But there's also Bowser Jr. Are they all his kids, and are they all from different mothers? Is Bowser Jr. a Koopaling?" To which Shigeru Miyamoto responded,
"Our current story is that the seven Koopalings are not Bowser's children. Bower's only child is Bowser Jr. and we don't know who the the mother is."
