Why do you think Ernest Miller didn't work out in WWE? Hearing complete silence during his appearance in the '04 Rumble was pretty sad and they gave up on him immediately as a wrestler. I guess age was also a factor. Should have just sent him back to commentary or made him a manager.

Probably a combination of him being seen as both a WCW guy and the b-show commentator suddenly getting a push, on top of Vince losing interest immediately. I also think happy dancing babyface on the same show as Rikishi wasn't going to bode well.

Miller was awesome as the commissioner in WCW's dying days, but that's just it: he was awesome during the lowest point of a dying company. Bad matches, but charismatic enough to be worth the midcard matches he had and interact with the actual stars but not go over them.

He got to WWE four years too late. If he came in ‘98-‘99, he probably would have gotten a run as a memorable mid carder. As @Laz mentioned, he was one of the few people who thrived when Russo came to WCW.

He was just a man without a country in ‘03-‘04. He didn’t fit in with the workrate guys like Eddie, Kurt or Benoit or the gay porn star looking Next Gen like Cena, Orton and Batista. There were already a lot of much more talented and more tenured guys to be veteran mid card filler. He just didn’t have a place.

He was also thrown out there with nothing to do from the start. The most memorable debuts (Carlito or Team Angle for example) led directly to a feud or a path to something else. They just threw this middle aged guy out to dance in the middle of a match people had huge emotional investment in that year, and he died.

He really should've been a manager, anyway. Like you get Miller doing a Don King gimmick and he gets anyone over.

He debuted as the color commentator on Velocity and tbh, B show color commentator was probably the best he could do in the climate.

REDACTED throwing Lamont’s wig over the top rope was a pretty great moment.

Miller/Hurricane would've been a nice little comedy feud. That's about it.

He's a legend, but he has one of my all time least favorite names in wrestling. It sounds like chewing tobacco.

It’s nice Conrad is letting Bruce take his mind off of being implicated in the biggest scandal In pro wrestling history by letting Brother Love tell him old stories about Paul Boesch, Roy Shire, and Don Owen (There he is again, Brody and Vale!)

I genuinely don't care nor have ever cared what Bruce has to say about anything except what's happening now, and if that isn't whats happening then it doesn't matter. At least Foley quit instead of being made uncomfortable.

Much like Tony Khan, he isn't going to or be allowed to say anything, so why get butt hurt? Plus Bruce addressed it last week.

And when someone (Nash) says something outside of PR, the torches are lit and the villagers come for his castle. So it's a no win.

One can just hope Bruce can offer something outside of the basics on the old promoters.

TK is the owner of a company that isn't going through human trafficking scandals. He shouldn't be commenting, anyway. Completely different from the right hand of Vince for decades deciding to do a half-baked show about the dead territories in avoidance of the one thing worth talking about.

Nash said some fucked up, stupid shit. That's why people are pissed at him. It has nothing to do with "outside of PR." He sounds like an asshole. Don't make it sound like a witch hunt or something when is just straight wrong.

Again, Bruce commented on it last week.

Is there something new he should be commenting on?

Again, he was the right hand man for decades and has the best insight into everything, so yes, he should be talking about this. His legacy is directly tied to it.

Realistically though, he has to have a gag order (which he might have mentioned last week). I wouldn’t be shocked if he flipped on Vince because he is a slippery seal and Vince fired him twice and left him near destitute so frig it.

On the Something to Wrestle With podcast, Prichard was asked about the lawsuit against McMahon and WWE. Prichard stated that he won’t comment on the matter because he is "not at liberty" to discuss the "legal matters of the company whatsoever."

“There can’t be a response from the legal standpoint. You can ask until you’re blue in the face, and that’s going to be your answer. I’m not involved, I’m not being sued, I’m not being accused of anything. It’s a legal matter.

So much of 2010 to modern day blurs to me but I really feel like I'd remember this more clearly.

2009-10 is right down there with 2019-20 for my least favorite two year stretch for WWE. TNA would have had a good chance at making some in-roads if they hadn’t alientated almost their entire core fanbase.
