[Lord of The Curry]

Whether the game itself can live up to the hype the trailer is getting remains to be seen.

Having said that, in terms of cinematic value that could very well be one of the best video game trailers I have ever seen. Just crushingly sad and disturbingly violent inside of three minutes. Amazing.

Anyone have an opinion on Mafia II? It's down to $20 on Amazon and I've been looking at getting it when it got this cheap. I liked the demo but every review I've read mentions the lack of things to do outside the story missions and it kind of scares me off a bit.

What I've read about Mafia II is that if you go in with the impression that it's an open-world sandbox game, you'll be disappointed. If you don't, and just enjoy the narrative, it's not too bad.

Sooooo... Bulletstorm comes out tomorrow. I figure as long as it stays over the top and doesn't take itself too seriously, it should be an OK FPS. Kinda looking forward to it as a filler until Dragon Age 2 comes out in a couple of weeks.

Yeah, Amazon is offering a $20 credit with it which is REALLY fucking tempting. I just don't know if the game has staying power or if the skillshot gimmick will get old too fast. In the demo it was kind of annoying that when you pulled an enemy towards you and time slowed down, you still didn't have that much time to aim your shot.

A lot of places are doing promos on Bulletstorm, I guess its just determining if you think its worth picking up at full price. Amazon has the $20 credit, Best Buy will sell you the Gears of War Triple Pack (1, 2 and map packs) for $5, I think K-Mart is doing some credit too.

I really shouldn't be buying more games since my backlog is just going to get bigger. I still need to finish Fallout: New Vegas! Fuck, I still need to finish Lost Odyssey and I don't think I've played that for almost a year.

Kind of in the same boat. Still need to go back to Infinite Undiscovery, which wasn't too bad for a Final Fantasy clone. Still haven't finished New Vegas either yet. Instead, now Bulletstorm, then Dragon Age in 2 weeks. After that I don't see anything for a while though so hopefully I can work through the backlog then.

Just finished the second episode of the Back to the Future game. The ending makes me really interested in where they are going with the story in Episode 3.

Just downloaded a patch for EA MMA today. The patch removes the names of UFC fighers. Wanderlei Silva is now announced as...PLAYER FIGHTER. I'm also glad that my Bigfoot Silva is now Anotnio Fighter.

Japanese dev Miracle Kidz, comprised of some of the series' original developers, told Impress Watch (via Siliconera) that the sequel is in development for both consoles and PC. The console release should be "this summer" while PC owners will need to wait until "next year." There's no word on which consoles Miracle Kidz is targeting, but its River City Ransom-styled Downtown Smash Dodgeball is on Xbox Live Indie Games and being ported to WiiWare, so those two platforms seem

Angry Birds updated recently, and added in-game ads that apparently run every time you re-start a level, and banners in the pause menu, and possibly others. It may only be for the iPad version, I'm not sure. I've not played the game, nor do I know how many versions there are, or which ones work with which iOS doodads.

It's okay. Looks like Chrome. Like a lot like Chrome. The bar on the bottom being eliminated is great. Consolidating all the top menu bar stuff into a Firefox tab in the top left hand corner is good.
