Whoa, hold on...I KNOW we're not hating on Moonwalker, here!

Oh come on Dude, you can't tell me that the Mega Drive version is any good.

Considering the arcade game it was a port of.

Applied for a job with Ubisoft (Reflections) today as a QA tester, they're the guys that made Destruction Derby and the Driver series. Its a long shot if I get it, but you never know!

The sale is already over, according to the website and the store I stopped at today. According to the salesperson, Gamestop sucks and does not want to sell you games at a price that you would pay.

The Matrix Online is dead. But went out in style!

MMOs come and go, with many just fading into obscurity. Matrix Online did things a little differently and brought an apocalypse.

When an MMO dies, it usually comes at the end of a long period of decline as the servers wink out like cold stars. Not so with Matrix Online, where the death of the game was made into an event. The game's graphics were changed to look like the simulation was falling apart, with ash raining down as the sky decompiled and angels and demons appearing to terrorize the city.

Matrix Online went live in the Spring of 2005 and outlasted rivals such as Tabula Rasa and Hellgate: London. Old subscribers were invited back free of charge to experience the end of the Matrix and old and new fans alike partied and fought as the world crashed down around them.

You have to give Sony Online Entertainment credit for opting for 'bang' over 'whimper'. The servers went down at 12:01 am Pacific Daylight Time, rest in peace Matrix Online.

I beta tested Matrix Online all those years ago, and it had great ideas, but was just 'off'. Surprised it lasted this long, but it did have a lot of live events within the game world to keep people interested, which made it unique.

I'm running on a pretty old version of Internet Explorer, if I upgrade to the newest version, will I lose my bookmarks?

I know firefox backs them up, but I haven't used internet explorer for so long I have no idea. Should be an option to save them before hand in import them in at least.

Firefox backs up bookmarks? Where? I've been doing so manually for months after the last crash I had wiped them all out.

Scroby posted a few in Pictures I like, but Here's concept art for Warren Spector's "Epic Mickey", which is apparently going to be Disney meets Steampunk. It will be coming to the Wii. I dunno what to make of it.

I'm very intrigued.

It's funny really. Look at "Kingdom Hearts"-it's insanely popular (I haven't played it though-never was an RPG fan) yet the premise of the game kinda sounds like terrible fan fiction to the uninitiated.

Break a leg. I'd love to hear your take on it if you haven't worked gaming QA before. I know it was, interesting, for me.

It seems like testing makes people hate video games. That, and the hours requried at certain points make it so that you wouldn't even have much time to play if you wanted to.

That being said, if I had a car, I'd apply for a testing position with THQ or 2K, both in L.A.

Currently doing it for free for Sports Interactive, who make the Football Manager games (Testing FM2010 and Football Manager Live) but they just email you the FTP to download the latest build, so I'm not sure its what I'm expecting for REAL QA. Which I expect to be sitting down all day, driving a car into a wall to see if it does what its suppose to do, pressing the reverse button over and over again to see if it reacts correctly and so on.

Who did you work for?

Organise bookmarks > save & backup

It backs them up during installation too, not sure what folder though, could be worth a look. Last time I looked around an internet explorer's folder I found my dirty Lindsy Lohan background I forgot I had.

Just fixed my iPod (had the sad iPod icon, iTunes & computer wouldn't recognize it, couldn't manually reset it) by whacking the top right corner against the wall.

eamods & mvpmods are excellent resources. MVP 05 + updated rosters (with more updating by me because nobody bothers to update rosters for trading deadlines or anything) = good time.

There's so much more I could do that I'm not bothering with, it's unsettling to me. I'd be playing The Show 08 but fuck that, I've got 2 RttS's and it filled my memory card. Can't be prudent with your save game size when 8MB is the max save capacity on a console developed by the same people as the game in question, you don't get the privilege of owning my dynasty mode.

I haven't read anything on Brutal Legend and I only know that it's made by Lucas Arts, so I'm just asking.
