Slim PS3s are fine. Its the original Fat one. Seems it may get autofixed at midnight GMT, as thats what happened when Zune had a similar problem a few years ago.

I came here to ask if it's something that would just go away once we got past the silly date, at midnight.

Dumbasses fucked up leap years. It's rolling over to a day that doesn't exist (Feb. 29, 2010 to be specific) to calculate what time it is; guess who's getting fired for fucking up something as simple as leap year calculations?

And wow if the problem that caused most PS3's to not even work OFFLINE is caused by something as stupid as fucking up leap year, then yeah someone needs to be fired. Probably multiple someones.

I don't get how these companies don't take their hardware during testing, set the clock to Feb 28, let it roll over, and repeat for the next 100 years down the line? That's like, a couple hours of testing to catch a bug that affects everyone.

I just like that they charged 400 dollars for a machine that can't do something that a phone you buy at a gas station can do.

600 if you bought at launch. Maybe they thought that since launch was like three and a half years from a feb 29 that the playstation 4 would be out by then.

Maybe Sony saw this guy ranting and figured they better solve the problem fast.......

PS3 Error Code 8001050F Rage

Wow. If this guy can come hard off the ropes and drop an elbow from the turnbuckle, Vince should sign him.

Good thing they fixed it with MLB 10 coming out today.

Not sure if I'm going to pick that one up or not yet. I usually end up buying "The Show" every year, but this one sounds like it's just a slight upgrade over last year's version, unless I've missed something. Also, I found the hitting in '09 to be a bit too difficult for my tastes.

I'm going to be fine playing 09 for another year. It's kind of pointless to buy what is essentially the same game every year unless you're really into playing it online. Road to the Show alone is enough to keep me occupied with 09 for another year.

I feel better about snagging MLB 09 in a package deal with NCAA 10 & SvR 09 off eBay, reading the last few posts.

Is there a good website that lists new DLC as its released for every game?

Can you tell me a page?

And just to be clear, I don't mean a site for a particular game.

I mean a website that lists every game as its newly released.

For example:

03/06/2010:

Batman: Arkham Asylum DLC
WWE SmackDown! Vs Raw 2010 DLC

03/05/2010: Street Fighter IV DLC

etc.

So today on AOTS they showed some footage from the playstation press conference in San Francisco, and they showed off their playstation motion controller.

Must say it was a bit underwhelming. The only game that really looked kinda cool was the street fighting game, most of the other footage, looked just as wonky as the wii motion controller and the one game they did show that was truly next gen was Socom 4, but the guy was basically sitting in his chair using the motion controller like a regular controller, so what exactly would be the point?

I will save total judgment until after E3, because I am sure a much better demonstration will take place then.
