Peacewalker looks like a system seller to me...

Honestly, how so?

All I've seen of it so far is the creepy Jon-Benet Ramsey lookalike j-pop video and the tedious looking Monster Hunter battles. Both of which reduced my interest, which was already at 0.

Yeah, well that's just your opinion man. (Big Lebowski)
I want Peace Walker. If I have to get a PSP for it, then I might just do it. I'm going to try to get one for cheap, but if I can't, I might go for the Metal Gear bundle. I'm a big MGS fan, but I never had a serious urge to get a PSP for any of the other Metal Gear games other than this one. It's coming out right around my birthday so maybe it'll all work out. Can't wait to play it! I'm really interested to see what happens after Snake Eater. And the overall wackiness factor intrigues me. Plus, I'll finally be able to play God Of War: Chains Of Olympus too.

And still holds true.

For lame nostalgia purposes maybe. If you are talking simply preference, then ok no one can argue with someone's personal preference, but to say the PS3 doesn't have enough quality games to stand alone as a console in 2010 is pretty ignorant.

Its a personal preference, everytime im looking to purchase a new PS3 game, they all seem to be available for the 360, and often are cheaper for the 360. Besides Heavy Rain (which im not completely sold on) God of War, and MGS, I honestly cant get drawn to any exclusives that leap out at me.

If you're going to get Heavy Rain.. wait for it to come down a bit.. or get it used. It's a great game/experience, but it's awfully short and there isn't much replay value, IMO.

I'm with my twin Sabre here. Most of the best PS3 games are multiplatform, and I already own them on the 360. The only PS3 exclusives that actually look good are as follows:

Both Ratchet & Clank Future games (I own them)
Little Big Planet (own this, too)
Valkyria Chronicles (own)
MLB 10: The Show (own)
Uncharted (own)
Uncharted 2
Metal Gear Solid 4
Infamous
Yakuza 3
Heavy Rain
God of War III

12 games. I like my PS3, but the Wii has more quality exclusives than does the PS3.

Ive got the Ratchet game that is available to download from the PSN, i really should play it some more.

I was gonna get Infamous, but i liked Prototype better and got it for the 360. Ive yet to experience Uncharted and keep meaning to.

I liked inFamous, but after one play through I have no ambition to ever play through the game again so I traded it in.

I played through it twice, and plan on finishing my 3rd playthrough in the summer to get the platinum. I really really liked Infamous. But I can see why someone would have no interest in playing it more than once. Personally, I was hooked on it for months.

The Lost & Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony GTA IV episodes were just released as DLC for PS3.

They cost $20 each, is either one worth it?

As far as game DLC goes...the GTA episodes are pretty fucking meaty.

The disc is $34.99 on Amazon with free shipping. That's the best deal you're going to get right now.

God, No More Heroes was a good game ruined by a shitty overworld. The action was fun, but you spent at least half the game navigating the terribly designed overworld, earning money to enter your next mission. I couldn't stand it.

Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction > Prototype as well.

Sometimes more is not necessarily better.

Anyone get the new map pack for Modern Warfare 2? Any good?

I found it alright. If you play MW2 online a lot, then it's good for variety if nothing else.

Actually, I would've thought the opposite. It's supposed to be their answer to the iPod Touch, I believe. Download games/apps, listen to music, watch movies, etc. while you're on the "Go".

The fact that all the games you've previously purchased on UMD format are unusable on the Go indicates they're marketing to people who didn't already have a PSP. The same people who hadn't been enticed into buying one for the three or four years it was out before the Go, and the Go didn't really add anything to the system, so yeah it was gonna be a flop.

The fact that it was only $50 cheaper then a PS3 didn't help it's cause either.

So, I finally got around to "following" Kevin Butler on Twitter. I got this direct message from him and its the only reason why Sony is awesome..

"TheKevinButler: Thanks for the follow. If you @message me, just remember it’s “you’re awesome” not “your awesome.” #KBgrammarPoliceFTW"
