The new Iced Earth album came out last Tuesday. I wasn't too sure about it since I wasn't digging the new singer's other band. To my surprise, it's pretty damn good. His vocals on the IE are great. The music is really solid. Overall, I'm loving it.

Nightwish released a song from their upcoming album titled, "Storytime". If you're a fan of Nightwish or any of the material they've worked on since Tarja left, this is something you may enjoy. It's a decent enough track. I'm interested to hear the rest of the album.

Megadeth's Gigantour is coming to my town in Feb. Megadeth and Motorhead? sounds good to me. Seems like a small building for such big names though. 8,500 is the max capacity supposedly.

They're coming to Manhattan at the end of January for pretty cheap tickets. I've seen Megadeth twice, once on the original Gigantor, but I've never seen Motorhead and have always wanted to. Only problem is I'm not planning anything at the end of the month with my wife due to give birth around that time. Fuck.

They really, really are. Musically they're fine, but there's no emotion whatsoever with them onstage, and Mustaine looks like he's about to fucking keel over and die now.

Last time I saw Megadeth play (last summer) Mustaine's voice cracked a few times while he was singing. A pretty harsh performance. Surprised me, because the last time I had seen them before that, I was blown away; I thought they did a better job then Slayer, who played afterwards.
