Broward and I split our fights 1-1. Lesnar d. Kongo by KO, 1st round, Kongo d. Herring by armbar, 2nd round. I think he switched to Herring after the rather gruesome nature of our first fight, where he bull rushed me and I had no real answer for it.

I just got the Wax On achievement and level 30 in consecutive fights. The second one was thrilling, because we were both gassed and I countered a guillotine into a slam, then went directly into a kimura and tapped him. If he had quit-glitched me I probably would have killed myself.

So now: 39-21-1, 22 (T)KO, 16 submissions, 1 decision.

I'm at 16-2 now ranked...I ruined my perfect TKO record by accidentally KOing a guy with Sean Sherk...He had been giving me trouble, he charged in, and happened to run right into a duck under hook.

After starting 0-11 and getting flash KOd in like nine straight fights, I'm now at 5-12-1. Just beat Renaldo Silva 30-27, 30-25, 30-25, and I'm still pissed I couldn't submit him.

I just had two very good fights in Career with my Welterweight. First I knocked out Mike Swick with a straight right in the 3rd round of a nice back and forth fight that stayed mainly on the feet and then I lost a heartbreaking majority decision to Matt Serra 28-28, 29-28, 29-28 in a great technical match that should have gotten Fight of the Night but didn't. I kept trying to grab him in the Muay Thai clinch for knees which is my fighter's main weapon, but the slimy bastard kept getting out of it.

Is anyone else having trouble winning decisions? I think it's because I'm not so great standing, but I spend the other parts of the fight throwing my opponent around like a rag doll.

They can be frustrating as hell. You're 'gently' working on a guy through out the two rounds so you can KO him in the third, only for one of the weakest, strayest punches to graze him and wobbles in the 2nd round with 40 seconds to go. What makes it worse is whoever the current UFC tart is comes back on the screen and says:

"That's not how it went" like you were trying knock him the fuck out in the 2nd round and are a complete spazz.

Just play it on easy if you're struggling. And use only weak punches, or body hits. (Don't hold towards them and punch) Or if nothing else, once you see he's weak, just take him down and hold him there until the 3rd.

Christ, that was satisfying. I just fought a guy who picked Lesnar (strike one) and had a record that seemed pretty obvious that he was a tap quitter (strike two). So I picked Minotauro, since I've been using more BJJ guys, and the fight starts, and I do the glove touch. His response is to sprint across the ring and go for the takedown (yeeeeeeeerrrrr outta here!). As it turns out, dude has no ground game, so I take him to a completely embarrassing decision.

Plus, I got like 440 points for ending his consecutive wins streak, which with the other things I got and the multiplier boosted me up from rank 43 to rank 45. Best fight I've had yet, from a personal gain standpoint.

Spawny git, all I had yesterday were people quitting on me when I won. I now have a love/hat relationship with this game online and would like to see THQ (but won't hold my breath) improve their net code and patch records when people have blatantly quit.
