It's great so many people are abusing that glitch in CAF to get unlimited skill points... there's guys online with rankings like 119 now.

And on the hardest level... Machida has to be the most retarded fighter in the game. He just lunges in for hooks to the body.

Stolen from somewhere else:

"Go to create a fighter and then when the new fighter/load screen pops
up you want to load your fighter. Now you should have a picture of
your fighter with the option to load the fighter. Before you do that,
press the Y or triangle button to preview fighter, then once the full
figure is shown press X or square to toggle stats then press x or
square again to close the stats. Now press A or x to load the fighter.
Once he loads go to the fighter skills and you should have another
3024 points to use again, along with the skills that you have already
set when creating him. Use them, go to finish, auto save and repeat
the process over and over until you have 100 in every category. This
only works for fighter skills and not your attributes (strength,
speed, & cardio).È

From what I understand you can use it to make a fighter, but not for a career mode fighter

yeah..just saw that on the thread that OCK linked to.

I see the next big thing is a call for resetting the servers. Honestly, I'd hate for that to happen. I don't get to sit online and do nothing but Ranked all day and my record now (I think 60 or 70 somethin to 40-50 L's) is something I worked towards and would hate to have to repete all of that.

I finally tried this out last night and I must say it's a lot better than the previous UFC games (THANK GOD!) and I kinda had fun playing it, but I got kinda frustrated with the game when I was playing a friend of mine. I just got frustrated cause I really didn't understand the controls and didn't really know exactly how to reverse what and when to do it. I would probably enjoy it more if I bought/rented/borrowed the game and played single player so I can learn the controls.

After about 15 more matches, I enjoyed the game a bit more as I was able to actually fight back and learned a couple of ground counters. Though some things I kinda didn't like, I didn't like how even though I was reserving a ground attack, the person I was playing still was automatically on top of me or if I was trying to get the guy off of me and I rolled over to my back, I was automatically put in a position where I could be choked out and had to reserve that only to have the guy was fighting still on top of me.

Stuff like that really bugged me.

I think its all based on the style of the ground attack, yanno?

A simple lay n pray might only cost ya fifteen but a Hilo Hammerlock or a Quebec Quickening might run ya upwards of a hundred dollars... easily.

I continue to suck. I went 2-9 or so at the UFC party we had last night.

I made the most realistic Tank Abbott ever though as he's super slow, no ground game, and can only hit hard. I beat the CPU jobber heavyweights with him before being KTFO by Hardonk

I found that if you're really good at this game...don't stop playing. :-\ Because I was a beast when I first got this game, and my online record was like 25-2, but my Xbox died and I wasn't able to play for a while, and since getting it back, I don't know, the controls just don't feel the same or something. Still winning, but it's not straight up domination like it was before. Maybe in that time everyone else just got better, since in the one online match I've had since my Xbox came back I had to face like a level 120, even though I was only 25.

And he destroyed me because I really seem to have no answers for the muy thai clinch. Even the computer Anderson Silva gives me a lot of trouble with it.

Yeah, the muay thai clinch is practically inescapable. Very unbalanced.

Muay Thai is easy to break... just don't let someone start pushing you around and throwing knees or else your in trouble.

How do you break it? You can block the initial clinch attempt, but if a guy gets you in the clinch, there's no way to break the grapple besides repeatedly punching the opponent in the head and hoping he lets go. You can block/reverse swing and knee attempts, but that takes really good timing and doesn't always work properly.

I do that. That's not really a good answer. Punching someone repeatedly in the head while you yourself are vulnerable is a stupid way to have to escape it.
