UFC Undisputed 09
Boxing/BJJ is absolutely the best combination of styles in the game. It gives you virtual ground invincibility if you know what you're doing, and it gives you brutal ground and pound. Hold down LB and do a major transition while on your back from side control or half guard and you can sweep to the same position with you on offense. I'm no good at timing reversals, but I am very good at sweeping.
Wario Lemieux's preferred fighters for weight class:
Heavyweight: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
-You can go with Arlovski here (he hits harder), but I like Nog because he can slam to side control out of the clinch, whereas the other BJJers can only pull guard.
Light Heavyweight/Middleweight: Michael Bisping
-He pulls guard like everyone else, but he makes up for it by being one of the only boxers with head kicks, and the only boxer that can do head kicks with both legs. Josh Koscheck and Rashad Evans can do head kicks with their strong leg only.
Welterweight: BJ Penn if you want to be a fag, otherwise Matt Serra
-Penn has the best standing strike rating in the game. Nobody knows why. He has a good stick-and-move jab that nobody else can do.Matt Serra is BJ Lite.
Lightweight: See Welterweight, but with the addition of Joe Stevenson
-Stevenson has an iron chin, and brutal submissions. If you want to really focus on submissions and can't be bothered with ground and pound, Nate Diaz is a fine choice that lets you keep distance with his reach before using his 90 submission offense to finish them off.
I prefer boxing to kickboxing because I think the ducking hook is a superior weapon to the Superman punch, since it's less telegraphed and the timing of it throws people off.
