For those with Netflix, I was organizing my queue today and noticed Wrong Side of Town is now available for Instant Streaming! Looks like I will be subjecting myself soon!

I guess "Battle Girl: The Living Dead At Tokyo Bay" counts because it has Joshi star Cutie Suzuki.

I want to see WWE Films try to go artsy for one movie, for the hell of it. Think indie romance. It'd certainly be cheaper than blowing up Australia over and over again.

I have a pet theory about how they need to do a backstage comedy about a wrestling show, in Christopher Guest mockumentary style.

Just watched Wrong Side of Town on Netflix streaming last night after we got back from an indy show. It stars RVD, Batista, Ja Rule, and Mabel. I know quite a few of you are aware of the movie's existence.

So, my friend who was with me is a huge mark and loves Batista, and hell, I'll watch just about anything with wrestlers in it. So we started it up.

Even while under the influence of RVD's favorite substance, it was terrible. The Marine was 50 times better than this. It just made so little sense, and the premise was shaky to begin with. But I didn't expect much. It's 2/5 star rating on Netflix was pretty accurate. Probably would be 1 star for me with a non-wrestling cast.

Watching the trailer again, I can't help but notice how terrible the make up job Sid and Nash got. It looks like they just smeared paint and mud on their faces, gave them yellow contact lenses and called it a day.

So, what are the odds Lionsgate gives it a DVD release?

Ditto. Then I'll review it in my blog. This looks like the kind of shit I enjoy ripping apart.

Was it common knowledge that John Cena is in the Fred movie? Does this mean WWE will be shilling for Fred? I smell a guest host beat down!

This is the only Fred that I'd want to see a movie based around. I know the real guy has been dead for ten years but I'm sure Lovitz would do it. Hey, wasn't he supposed to guest GM RAW like a month ago?

I'd also like to see a Dave Thomas (Wendy's not SCTV) movie spinoff with Ned Beatty as Dave Thomas but that's another thread.

Lovitz did host Raw.
Hmm like the past ten years of his career, it must have been rather forgettable. Watching him stare at Maryse's boobs on YouTube now. Did he at least come out after the weekly match/wacky comedy segment involving Santino, Kozlov, and/or Khali and yell "It stinks!"?

Drop Dead Fred?

I thought the bump this thread was going to be about Trish Stratus' "Bail Enforcers" movie.
