I would recommend listening to The Ringer Wrestling Show with Paul Heyman as the main interview. I think he did it as a favor to Kaz who is the co-host.

A lot of great insight and honestly inspiring stuff.

I know complaining about podcast commercials is a waste of time… but 83 Weeks this week had a 9 minute commercial break. That’s gotta be a record for any podcast I’ve ever listened to.

Got a genuine guffaw out of an AFS podcast for first time in a long time during the Royal Rumble 2002 episode.

paraphrasing after a dumb Meltzer meltdown
Bruce Prichard: I'm the calm one out of your 42 co-hosts.
Conrad: Have you listened to Arn's podcast?
Bruce: Has anybody?

So when Corny started this version of his podcast the episodes were roughly an hour each. Now with lots of scam ads to read and $ to make, his pod today is once again over 4 hours.
The first 50 mins was Corny talking about his new water heater and then reading a email from a reader about what google says when you type in "Why are my testicles..."
It's an Experience episode, which means at least an hour of Corny shitting on AEW, which is now approaching year 3 and beyond white noise for me.
But I can't quit you, Corny. :(

Cornette has a bad habit of falling in love with the worst parts of his show. When he starts in on “why are/does my…” I just hammer the skip button until it’s over. I remember years ago he did a show that was just hours of “we made x amount of dollars working that show, and in today’s money that translates to x.” Literally hours of just that.

Randy Orton’s wife and Kurt Angle’s current wife have a podcast about being wrestler wives.

No one asked for this.

Although ngl...I’d *probably* listen to a Karen Jarrett podcast. You know she is gonna spill the tea!

I really don't get how Mrs. Orton became such a "thing" outside of her husband. Most wrestlers' wives are/were already in the business themselves. Even Reby Hardy was a worker before she met Matt but I don't see why Orton's wife is famous. Good for her, I guess.

She's been on WWE programming a bunch and have several interviews gushing about her husband.

When did Conrad's wrestling network jump the shark?

Pretty early? Somewhere after the first 2 or 3, it seemed like he was more interested in producing content for the sake of producing content and selling Patreon subscriptions than putting out a great product. He's probably gonna drop dead of a heart attack in the next few years so if he wants to get to a dozen wrestling podcasts in the process, good for him, I guess.

Flair was a passion pod, which opened the doors for profit.
Bruce was fun for a while, but much like JR there's only so many stories to tell. Plus Bruce's 3 impressions wore thin.
After Eric. Bruce and JR, did anyone have a necessary twist until Double J came along? Tony had to switch gears because he had no inside info and didn't keep up for 20 years. Arn was a dud, and the rest filler.
And stuff like trying to pretend a shoot interview with X is a big deal. (Crockett had several done, etc)
I'm not sure I've heard anything online about the documentaries, minus the "reviews" Conrad shared as ads.

If you like the AFS stuff and I still do despite its many faults, I’d just say enjoy it while it lasts since it doesn’t seem designed to be built to last. I’d be shocked if it was still around in its same form in 3 years.

If you hate it, just take solace in the fact it won’t be around much longer!

Connie's network effectively killed the shoot interview so Kayfabe Commentaries, RF Video, Highspots, etc. had to think of a new business model.

Hey remember when Corey Feldman randomly did a shoot for RF Video like 7-8 years ago? Wonder why they didn't do more celebrity shoots.

Serious question: How many B-C-D celebs would take time from the Comic Con they were at to talk to a random guy for 300 bucks? (Especially if someone alerted them to the pedo stuff) They expect 50-100 bucks and up for a quick photo at the Con itself.

Perhaps Feldman's DVD bombed so much that RF took the hint.

Yeah, I think the type of celebrity that would do an RF shoot interview for a couple hundred bucks isn't the type of celebrity that would produce a lucid watchable shoot interview.

I'm sure RF and Andy Dick would get along great though and me and @Valeyard would definitely watch that.

Looks like he could use it right now.

He's one of two NewsRadio alums I wouldn't let live at my house.

My first thought though was that his fundraiser is going way worse than my brother's after his apartment burnt down. My brother presumably sexually harassed way fewer bouncers than Andy.

I never want to hear about RF and Andy Dick within a hundred miles of each other.

Sean Oliver can interview Vicki Lewis though because I like him and will watch Vicki to the moon and back.

Life Hack (I've mentioned before) D/L Conrad shows off Youtube instead. (83 weeks this week has about 21 mins shaved off that way and I doubt that is salacious content ala Corny YT edits.

83 weeks is on Superbrawl 7. I just know Conrad is going to shit on the Alcatraz promos and I will be a sad panda.

I didn't peek yet on what the AWA Unleashed dropped....

This week in Jim Cornette eats up time on his podcast: They spend at least 15 mins on how to have sex with a gerbil and your anus.

Eric's opening bit last week about how he had to get the rights to tape at Alcatraz was interesting...the rest...meh.

Eric is still jumping between "Sullivan was booking I don't know" and "I approved everything, my bad"

How does a gerbil conversation go 15 minutes?
