Taken aback by the light up WWF sign that I associate with ‘89-‘92 being there for a ‘94 Superstars episode. Then doubly taken aback by Bill Alfonso still being a ref in ‘94 WWF. I thought he left with the Giant Gonzalez.


Johnny Polo doing commentary for Superstars was only third weirdest aspect.

Also what a massive downgrade for manager for Adam Bomb from Johnny Polo to Harvey Whippleman.

Harvey has to be worst WWF manager of all time. It is amazing how a greasy Southern pipsqueak became a Titan Sports lifer. AFAIK he is still a runner for WWE.

One of the big things that made the Montreal incident even more callous was the fact that Bret's family had been woven into the WWF fabric since Summerslam 91 (and Stu got name dropped quite a bit before them)

I don’t think the Harts are especially weird looking myself. Just very Canadian. And by Vale’s standards, Wayne is just a taller, happier looking version of Bret. Kind of like a combo between Bret and Gene Siskel. Mmm. Maybe Vale has a point about this being a weird looking family.

Bret is a genuinely handsome guy at his peak. He didn't slay more pussy than a big city animal shelter for no reason. Dude looked like John Braveheart for most of 1995. Wayne looks more like Alan Tudyk in a Hart biopic than anything. Owen is a very ugly man. Bruce just always looks like he's up to something, but now he happens to also look like he's going to complain to the manager.

There is no such thing as happy member of that family.
