Just to bring more negative...this stuff is genuinely incredible to me.

Carbon tax fails in Washington.
Death penalty repeal fails in California.
Solar energy plan fails in Florida, even though it was backed by utility companies.

Keystone XL will be built.
So will the Dakota Access Pipeline.


These things are major fucking beatdowns and in the case of the first three, I think this can be perceived as a settling of issues.

We're in the minority of this country politically.

Sorta. Hillary Clinton still got more votes than Donald Trump. She also approves of the death penalty. It just has to be accepted at a certain point that people lost that battle and continuing to fight it in the face of the majority will cost Democrats elections. People are progressive about some things and not about others. I've voted to repeal the death penalty two times. People want murderers executed. It's a settled issue now.

Nothing that will be successful, no. The Republicans won't pass some of his things, like his infrastructure plan. When they don't, he's gonna go fucking crazy.

Success implies that even if he passes those things, they will be a success for the American people. I can't think of anything. He is going to get a ton of shit passed though. Hold onto your butts.
