And it's something that the AP ran that article. Guy didn't do anything for like 10 days, is almost the same age as Biden, has more mental and verbal fuckups, can't navigate stairs or inclines, 34x convicted felon being protected by high courts and others, and is running on the Project 2025 platform but they still act like he's some kind of 1980s Hollywood John Rambo thing.

The Rubio, Vance, etc people have no dignity. They're just this somewhat congealed goo with the coats and ties. Little Marco grovels. Vance compared him to Hitler and now he, too, grovels.

Every single one of Trump's supporters are the same. Yes, I include the people who secretly or openly are ok with another term.
Kind of Vince-like. Why pick a loyal subject when you can make someone a beta.

Bobby Heenan, praises Vince, no job. Sable, sues for 100 million, come back babe! Oh and we are going to roleplay you being my fuck toy.

The comparison is perfectly apt. I just don't think it's a good thing.

He's done a lot of beating Trump at his own game. Infrastructure, immigration, winning, the list goes on and on. He just hasn't kept pace on the raping, the antisemitism, the racism, the losing, all the project 2025 stuff.

Clinton would get more votes than Trump again but I don't think it matters at all. Seems like something our friends at Politico did for attention.

999 times out of 1000 HilDawg wins the electoral vote in 2016 over Trump. We are just unfortunate enough to live in the one scenario where Clinton did diddly dick to GOTV in Michigan and Wisconsin.

It would've still been way too close because of trash people up here but, yes, a little campaigning would've won Wisco (and Michigan). One of many scenarios where women would've kept the sanctity of their lives and control of their bodies.

Ancient history in this internet day and age but Dukakis was up 17% in July of 1988 so things can shift dramatically in four months in a POTUS race.

Interesting how things change. Republicans sank Dukakis because he was too lenient towards a criminal and now they’ve run one as their candidate for the past three elections.

For all the people that think America is way more racist than it actually is.
Also presumes Candidate X syndrome doesn't exist. A large swath of Americans couldn't name Kamala Harris. I've been around enough of them.

I once asked a coworker who the PRESIDENT was and she hummed and hawed and finally said "Obama?"
She was on every welfare program possible while letting her boyfriend sleep in her basement rent free. And 50 years old.

Brody's friend doesn't vote, know who's running, or how to spell the word vote; they might barely know how to write their own name on the helpful checks they receive. But the media is absolutely going to report her story to kingdom come and that is going to drive the 'opinions' of and the votes of many millions of American voters.

That is probably part of the reason why Michelle Obama is continuously hyped as a potential POTUS candidate despite being adamant about not wanting to run for office.

Michelle saw what happened to the last First Lady that everyone wanted to run for office. It’s better to collect that Netflix money and go on book tours than be the most hated woman in America.

Same woman would be outside smoking on break in winter when the plow trucks came to "salt" the Walmart drive way. She'd then go and eat the "salt"

In the article he says he regrets answering the question but didn't take back the gist of the take.

At this point, it is probably best for Biden and those closest to him to realize the media onslaught is not going to stop & they are not going to shift their focus to any of Trump's twin-like similarities with gaffes and gait, let alone the lying, raping, and traitor-ing. He might have the confidence that he can follow through this election but it's probably just not possible anymore.

And Pelosi didn't fully turn on Biden but, today, she deliberately and publicly wavered.

Bernie and AOC have been very tactful in supporting Biden this past week cause if they waver at all, everyone is going to blame the left flank for ruining things once again.

I wonder who or what (BESIDES THE LORD ALMIGHTY) could sway Biden to drop out.

Perhaps his successor as Democratic VP nominee can make the case!

Sanders (completely right, imo) placed a lot of blame on media behavior. But, yes, you're probably correct that folks like him and AOC have a thinner line to walk. When I say that certain Bernie Bro types share in some of the blame for 2016, that doesn't actually include the senator himself. He's been doing his best to combat trumpism for the past 8 years (and W-ism and its lingereing stain before that).
